This is a great idea. I already did the unofficial group head pressure gauge and microswitch mod but the old valve design is really just too touchy for easy pressure profiling. Glad you made the new valve design backwards compatible. For those of you waiting for availability of a retrofit kit, be prepared to be shocked at the price of the parts. But I guess if you own a GS3 such things probably won't shock you. It still has the ill-designed tray latch, though. Glad to see La Marzocco adding incremental improvements to an already awesome machine.
I have noticed at 00:58 of the video clip that the boiler pressure exceeds a little bit over 12 bar in the meter, which is told "don't to do so" from the user manual. I have adjusted my own one to near 10 bar at idle state. What I want to ask is , what's the pros & cons if the idle pressure over or below 12 bar in the idle state? Thanks for your any advise.
HI there i wonder when the update retrofit kit will available for us (Normal old gs3 user??) we are waiting ......lf so should i have to move position of the micro switch ?
Our factory in Italy and our R&D department are working on a retrofit kit for current GS3 owners-once we have a full kit available and ready to go, we'll be sure to announce! Thanks for your patience, and if you have any questions just shoot us a message at home.usa@lamarzocco.com.

This is great news...given I just had my "old version MP" delivered 2 weeks ago :-(
We're in the process of working on a retrofit kit for GS3 Owners. Once they become available, we will announce!
Lol
Usually when something goes on sale that means a new model is about to come out. The old model was on sale for quite a while.
