i like her. She knows her resins. Videos like this are needed. Everyone does reviews but the public that like fragrances such as myself, would like to be educated on the subject of perfumery. More videos should be made on fundamental subjects about perfumery, such as what is an accord, how fragrances are made, what are the true costs to making a bottle of fragrance and making it popular, why some perfumes are much more expensive than others. These topics would be interesting to discuss in the fragrance community.not just the typical review.
Please do more videos with Dana. She’s so knowledgeable, funny and dynamic. The two of you have great chemistry together. I feel like I’ve taken a master class about fragrances after watching this video. ❤️
This woman is an encyclopedia. I love her. She’s great an very funny too. One of your most valued videos. Thanks so much. Congratulations for both of you 😉🇵🇹
Yes she is! So much info ,& u can tell she is very passionate about ingredients & such. Also quite entertaining,& easy to comprehend- the way she breaks it down to the average person. Such a wealth of information!
THIS WAS THE MOST FASINATING FRAGRANCE VIDEO I HAVE EVER SEEN. Sebastian you Rock and your awsome but wow Dana from Nose knows is a Rock. How can I watch random perfume reviews after this.
LOVE LOVE LOVE! I simply loved this video! Dana is such a lovely, funny and knowledgeable person :) I vote for musk as the next frag-nerd topic 😄 Can't wait for that top 20 resinous/balsamic fragrances!!
This is actually really interesting, I don’t know how I never watched your channel. This is the kind of fragrance information I want, not just a review.
Just loving these clear explanations by our Dana, the Science lady, and you two together are a very good combo. Thanks Sebastian, for all these informative & entertaining videos. A winning collaboration! 💐🙏
Congratulations, guys, for another fabulous video! I love Dana's exuberance and Sebastian's seriousness, which added balance to the whole. Good information and much fun! A great way to learn new stuff about perfumery. Thanks!
This girl is amazing and this is by far the most educational piece of information on the subject. I bet it all of UA-cam land, and maybe in all of the land.
I learned an awful lot from this video which has given me great food for thought and information on my fragrance trip. I enjoyed it as well. Thanks a lot!
Im excited to scope out trees up north this weekend, see if there are balsam fir on our land that I could harvest some sap from. Id like to make a varnish for a woodworking project.
I'd still consider Dana a sweet person. 😳 She's definitely the bee's knees. My favourite quote - "...mummifies the mofo." lol Gawwwwd i love her so much!
Very enjoyable to watch when you also invite Dana on board. She is not only so interesting, but never fails to make me laugh, so funny! She is probably my favorite guest that you have on. 😂😆👍👏
You guys are so funny, I love watching you and listening to the wisdom. I love Dana, her english is flawless. I am also romanian and man, she is so charismatic.
This is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! I think it must be my favourite perfume video EVER. I smiled a lot and this is SO INTERESTING! You two are great, lots of fun and listening you guys speak is a no task at all. Wish my teachers in school would've been more like this 😊🤭 I'd like to see all of the things for voting, I'm sorry! Much love from Finland, thank you both for this 💗
I absolutely enjoy watching you and Dana together. So informative and interesting to learn not only about resins but also some history. I love Dana's outgoing personality...I hope you guys do some more videos together.
@@anoseknows I finally found your channel 😁😁😁. Looking forward to seeing more collabs and also learning a lot more about fragrances and also random information from you.
I am Christian Orthodox too:) Great and educative video guys! I have a question to Dana: why do you know so much about all the perfume materials? Did you educative yourself because this is an interesting topic for you or you have some professional background? Sebastian, you don't know what propolis is?:)))my faves are Labdanum (SEXY!) benzoin and tolu balsams
I don't have a pro background in perfumery, but studied Bio/Chemistry for 4 years and I'm a #nerd all over, lol. Like, I read stats and Psychology Today and learn new languages and watch Attenborough for fun :)))
You too have amazing sinergy! You both should have a chanel together, Seriously! I can tell the expertise, and passion in both. I am actually learning with you.
I love anything with myrrh, probably my favorite fragrance note. I use to burn small pieces of myrrh in my apartment to relax - absolutely magnificent, but very expensive. Delightful and highly informational video. (Not a big fan of Frankincense.)
Great video and content, very informative. Not so much videos like this in the fragrances channels. I will vote for the four topics you guys mentioned at the end, four new videos, i really like the information, Thank you both! Cheers!
Oman is in Asia actually not Africa. i'm from Oman and frankincense here all come from the southern province (Dofar) and it's been used in every home across the country for centuries now for the purpose of perfuming the house and also it's believed to git rid of bad spirits and so on. it's a very lovely note in perfumes and i certainly enjoy it. i should also mention that Amouage is an Omani brand and they use a lot of Luban/frankincense in their perfumes and my absolute favorite on is Beloved Man.
Apologies if that's what was understood. I know exactly where Oman is, and have visited both UAE and Quatar in the area- which is why I called it "that part of the world", as opposed to Somalia/E Africa. However, where I come from (Romania), we learn in geography classes that the Peninsula is a major area in and of itself, and usually don't bundle it with Asia but with the Middle East, which ends at the Eastern Iranian border (neither we do Turkey, which although called Asia Minor, is still not considered Asia). Have the conventions changed? On a different note, I'd LOVE to look into the mystical aspects of incense... now, THAT would be a video to make.
@@anoseknows you're absolutely right people just say the middle east and they don't necessarily associate it with Asia when in fact it's in Asia and yeah i would love to watch you talk about incense it's a HUGE part of our culture and it would be very interesting to cover looking forward for that🥰

That power powder pink color on her lips looks great!
Awesome video....I learned a lot! Thanks, Dana!
Bijan has a gorgeous leading benzoin note. That’s my favorite.
Most of the materials she mentioned are sold in Africa and Middle Eastern in small shops it is called attaar shops
I found this very interesting and informative! Even the medicinal aspects of resins. What did she say was good as a natural treatment for fleas?
Omg- love resins but pressed for time so I've GOT to watch later.. Resins💙...
