Tope, buckshot is still lethal beyond 100 metres. The spread is only 1.3 inches per 3 feet. Though the spread would be quite large, a single pellet could still kill you. That headshot, though lucky, was legitimate.
Shame that wasn't a landmine instead of the bear trap you planted, that would be even more hilarious :D

Tip for newer people in comments: if you shoot someone and they fall to the ground with one leg higher than the other, the player is not dead and you have to finish them with a shot to the head. If you shoot someone and they fall down with both legs extended, they're actually dead and you dont have to finish them.
There's actually an example of this in the vid at 7:20-7:40
