On today's 30 general knowledge quiz questions, I managed a score of 28/30. Missed 18, and 30. I knew that London Bridge was moved to Lake Havasu City, Arizona. But, I didn't know that emergency code on cruise ships, nor did I know who won the first Rugby World Cup. Guessed at both, but was nowhere close on either. I also didn't know a few others, but got lucky with my guesses. 🤔 Thanks for another interesting quiz, Dale. One of these days, I'll start acing them all and I can finally retire!🤣
Did it late morning today - Busy, Busy...Missed - 29 thought it was Igor! Thanks Dale. The London Bridge question somehow in my mind it relates to the boring movie Paris Texas and that was how I got to the answer.
Very very good Andrew 😀👏👏 - it’s funny how those little nuggets of information are hiding away there. I’ve seen nor heard of that film - sounds like I haven’t missed much 😀
23/30 for Team Harlow on this Thursday evening. Struggled on a few and hit the correct answer with a guess or 3. That man overboard q was good. We thought iceberg but when the answer came up we looked at each other and said of course! lol. Cheers for the load up and your effort of course. Good one 😮.
I got 23 correct on this week's quiz. I knew about the London Bridge being sold and moved to Arizona. The person who brought the bridge thought that he was actually buying the famous Tower Bridge. I also knew the Frankenstein question because of Mel Brooks Young Frankenstein.
The return of the pesky one, as soon as you pointed out its absence last time! This time it was the worldwide electricity source. Did consider the right answer but jumped the wrong way...the pesky one was not to be denied...
25/30 thanks 👍🏴

21 for team me. Should have been more. I really do know a merengue is a dance. I forgot that I knew momentarily. Forehead remains red from the slap.

Very good Torfrida 👏👏 🇬🇧
A difficult question indeed for a Brit but it may come up elsewhere at some point 😀
