Hi Kel Your Finish is just beautiful - wow - I dearly love this Love all of your WIPS - Beautiful Progress on them. Take Care & Happy Stitching ❤️🤗🧵🪡🧵☕️❤️
The festival sounds fantastic! I googled it and the trees re beautiful. Congratulations on the finish, the colour you stitched it in is lovely.. enjoyed seeing your progress too. Looking forward to next update 😀
@sharonmarie66 it is pretty amazing. It died out for a few years, in activity sense, not that it wasn't being held. But we have new committee members and they have some great ideas. They're are beautiful while they last. Already most of the trees are bare because they've dropped their flowers. Happy stitching 🧡🐎🧵🧡
Congrats for surviving the Jacaranda Festival - I reckon it’s one of the last great festivals left in Oz. In the area where I grew up (near Cairns), every town had its own festival and they’ve basically all gone. It makes me feel nostalgic to hear Grafton is still going strong. Happy purple (and don’t slip over - you’re right, dead jacaranda flowers can be a complete menace!).
@ninja.stitcha I was born and raised in Maclean nsw, we used to have the cane harvest festival in cane season but it stopped many many moons ago. Although they still hold the highland gathering every Easter. But you're right, it's great that the jacaranda festival is still going strong. 🧡🧵🐎🧡
Well done on your fniish! The amount you do is amazing! There is a Jacaranda tree out the front of my house in Adelaide, it's so pretty but yes it doesn't flower for long.
@sandrabird7148 thank you, there's plenty of jacarandas in Australia, I think the climate is near perfect for them. When you have avenues of them, they're are stunning. All the blooms have fell off now. 🧡🧵🐎🧡
Congratulations 🎉on your finish Kel.🙌 Someone else shouted out Ann, i really like the straightforwardness of her channel. She has some amazing projects. I realize that i mainly watch the channels who do mainly full coverage, theres not many Americans who do. Have you seen Jemima's recent video?Work sounds hetic, glad you survived it lol. I love the colours you have chosen for your Longdog start👍. Glad the car episode finished for you. Have a good fortnight. Take care🤗🇬🇧
@mrsmiggins6435 thank you, I like the way Ann gets straight to the point as well. I find a lot of Americans prefer to stitch the smalls and older sampler type patterns. They are very big on finishing wips into pillows etc, which find lovely to see but not really my style. I call them dust collectors 🤣 work is going to be just as hectic heading into the silly season lol. Take care and happy stitching 🧡🐎🧵🧡
@siskestitches thanks siske. No I'm not joining the haed sal. To be honest, none of the patterns catch my eye enough to want to stitch. Plus I'd rather just buy a pattern during a sale. 🧡🧵🐎🧡
What do you mean ONLY 7300 odd for 13 days 😮 that's more than I stitch a month 😂 How long do you cut your threads? I'm trying to find a good length and your length seems good. 200K this year 😱 those numbers are what my dreams are made of 😂
@cardiffstitcherdanielle 😆 most of my lengths are approx 18in. I used to measure each length but now I just fold the skein maybe 6-8 times and cut the loops. I'll do a quick instructional video of how I cut my lengths on my next update. I didn't quite make it to 200k last year so hopefully I can get there this year. Happy stitching 🧡🐎🧵🧡
