You have to grind out shitty open mics making no money for years, hopefully get noticed and get booked as an opener for someone. Hopefully that leads to being able to be a regular somewhere etc. Schaub was a failed ufc fighter who than used his friends to get him a HUGE head start in comedy. Just because it would be hard for someone off the street to befriend Rogan and a comedian doesn’t mean Schaub should be respected for how he got where he is.
