I’ve been playing 50 years, toured everywhere, played countless shows and countless hours in a studio. This young lady doesn’t even break a sweat, She should be in stadiums performing live shows. Amazing control and timing is spot on.
well yeah, but given an upload schedule of every few weeks and no piece thats longer than 5-6 minutes.... i dont think she has the stamina for a show. thats a controlled setting, maximum rest and short intverals, not a 1-2 hour long marathon with over a dozen songs.

she has skills, definitely, but video editing magic means the video could be the best of many takes. I think live performances are still on a higher level where you get one take at the time in whatever condition you're in and that's what the internet will see.

Okay but... how are her sense of rhythm and movements SO CONCISE??? Not one false move, completely relaxed and free of tension! I still struggle with this as a musician. I am BEYOND IMPRESSED. Well done, A-Yeon!

confidence and experience. This goes for any kind of instrument playing. The more confident you are, the better your accuracy and the easier you find the place you need to be. I can play this and many other songs in my sleep on guitar, I've played them a lot. Just gotta keep on keeping on, you will get there.
Legit- I've played drums for like 10 years off, and on, and was a daily drummer at certain times during this for months on end. My double bass is still sloppy to this day. Yeon has a secret rudiment, and just isn't telling us.

@@rileyk5228 there are drummers that learned piano to contrast rhythm with melody but not often one would go from piano to drums, anyway she's a one person band by now, throw in bass from years ago so she is even better now ua-cam.com/video/Pf-Nasc9Ezk/v-deo.html, guitar (no video proof but she used to get help on guitar in her earlier covers but her most recent few drum covers there are no guitar credits and she has been saying she has been learning guitar for a few years in Q&A), throw in vocals plus original compositions, her songs even have been used in Korean movies ua-cam.com/video/w8eVZ3sjw40/v-deo.html and there are videos of her singing Korean movie OSTs m.ua-cam.com/video/QhLJ7IslGnw/v-deo.html so you're dealing with a broad spectrum musician here

Holy shit! This is still one of my most favorite songs ever and you look like you make it look like you're not even trying. Been self taught on guitar (and terrible with no actual knowledge but can see talent and appreciate when I see it) and you're damn good! Thanks for that!

I'm also a huge fan of Paulina from The Warning but she takes the opposite approach. She beats the drums like they owe her money.

...Dear A-YEON, Still in good shape at the end, not out of breath, and not a single drop of sweat, every time! Big compliment for this achievement, and last but not least what a great performance A-YEON, AS ALWAYS...WOW...
I'm pretty sure this is filmed slower and sped up. Not sure how the audio is done but it looks sped up, probably 20-25%. If you playback at 50% it's clearly slowed down so she's not playing at that speed but playback at 75% looks more "normal" than playing at normal. Could be wrong though.
I'm guessing you don't play drums. Most drummers in an air conditioned room while playing a single song wouldn't sweat. If she were to play the whole album I would expect sweat but not doing a single cover lol. Watch the guy who did the full Iowa album by Slipknot in a single session. He gets drenched but only after a few songs in.
@@ilikeyacutg854 ...You're right, I play the piano, but I also run marathons (>220 up to now), so I know a bit about sweating , of course in the open air. As for Slipknot (Iowa album is great music), could be suitable music for a possible new World War III movie (lol). I love their excess of energy! Thanks for your comment...

well that's what a computer can do for you. it's more like playing a game than playing music. unlike real drums she is just pushing buttons with sticks the computer is making the sound not the drums.
