what's the different between vacuum gas manifold and this device?

sleeves are rolled up xD
sleeves rolled up, pouring liquid nitrogen with gloves on, fume hood sash right at the top, sticking head well into fume hood where there's gas that's been bubbled through mercury. A lot of safety issues here.
