I just wish I had found your tutorial when I first dug around for one, it would have saved me tons of time and frustration. You're a champion, Michael, thanks so much!
You are my hero. I needed to learn how to do this for my new business and it was not intuitive AT ALL, at least for me. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart!!
Fantastic! extremely good, fast and complete tutorial. I had a hard time finding out how to do this with Google Earth Pro and now everything works perfectly. Thanks
Great tutorial Michael, thanks for sharing. Made the movie I wanted in two takes, clearly the more time you spend on it the more you can do but this is great. thanks!
Easy to follow - great video mate! I am putting together a film of a recent trip to the south west states and wanted to start with a google earth tour of all the places I visited for the opening sequence. I didn't have a clue how to do this but this video told me everythig I needed to know so a big thanks from me!!!
Great tutorial: really helped me. Btw, I used the "Add Image Overlay" to place small photos on top of the landscape: great new way to record a holiday!
Yes indeed - now no reason to avoid doing the 2013 New York series (and some others) I want to make as a record of our (infrequent) travel. Thank you - I will find out what differences there are in the commands using a Mac.
This has been totally obsoleted with the new and free Google Earth Studio in 2019. Don't even waste your time on this anymore. Google Earth Studio is a very advanced movie making app with all the features of serious keyframe based video animation as used in that industry today. It even includes optional Adobe "tracking points" support. Best of all, it has 5 separate set-up path wizards and a 3D texture area indication layer. Search for examples right here on UA-cam. It's primary intent is to replace or supplement the use of drones. Yes, it will also render out in Photoshop CC but without optional tracking points (as can be done in After Effects). Just open as picture sequence (checkbox on lower right) and enter the frame rate when prompted to do so. BTW - most people don't use tracking points anyway. They control the paths of added layers such as text.
I created a track also recorded a movie I click on either one click on tools to create movie movie maker greyed out sometimes movie maker has check in box but still greyed out HELP
A little bit unrelated with the content of the video, but can you monetize froma video with google earth on youtube, when there is a copyright for the images that appear on it? I would like to know, because I also would like to make google earth videos on youtube.
Thanks so much, Michael. I returned to your tutorial today to refresh my memory of how to create a movie. You are wonderful to have shared this.
This is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you Michael!! A complete & easy to follow description of how to make a tour in Google Earth.
