I'd imagine she's been at it for quite longer than a year. Just a year letting people in public know/see.
I started painting war hammer miniatures when I was 12 and many of the skills I've learnt there have been reasonably transferable.
You should get in touch with the Warhammer people - they're missing an advertising opportunity there!
