Many thanks this was so timely. This totally worked and those handle components had become clogged. Ironically this happened after I had descaled it - as if that loosened the mineral sediment and sent it to the end of the hose.
Thank you - had tried descaling - with white vinegar - which is probably not recommended as it may corrode the parts. The cleaner remained clogged. Followed your video and after some spluttering- it worked! Many thanks! (I had given up hope!)👍
Please can you give me advice why the grey upper button for hold, is not working,it fall down,no good connection with press button as before? Also the grey lower press button ,it is not coming out when i press on, there is no restance anymore? I cannot youse the full pressure of 4bar again. Please can you advice Thank you...😊
Just got the Neat and using for the first time. The light changed from orange to green and base is hot to the touch. Pressing the trigger but absolutely no steam. Any solution
I'm coming up on year three of my ownership of this unit and I'm curious about the usage of yours. Would you normally use tap water or did you mostly only use distilled? Thanks in advance for the information and thanks for the very useful video.
Yes thank you! But could you help me figure out, does a spring belong under the lock lever? The lock lever had fallen out and I didn't see anything else but after putting together the trigger and lock lever were both stuck being pressed in. Also, is there any o rings belonging in the connection spot where we took out the 4 screws? Thank you in advance!
@@DoryStaCruz thank you for the response! I went back and rechecked my steps and found I hadn’t screwed one of the pieces back in completely so steam was indeed leaking out. All fixed now
I’m having this problem too and I went back and put everything back they way this video done and it’s still getting very hot and small bits of water coming out when steam is can anyone help plz ??
@@Lynsey-tz3cf I would go back and double check everything went into place correctly. If even a little bit of steam is escaping from anywhere it will be getting to hot to hold
Works for me as well, only the upper grey cap is palling inside everytime, when i turn the pistol,it came out... Worthless machine...i wish i never bought it...
Thank you so much for posting this video. My steam mop is now back to working perfectly. Very much appreciated ❤

Yeah, their team stopped recommending descaling it with vinegar I think for that very reason

I was given a model about two years ago and it is slightly different to the one you are unassembling in the video. This video is very helpful.
Thank you, this is exactly what was needed to get my steamer working again!

yeah there are 2 springs. They flew out when I opened mine. One on top button and one for handle release. just fixed mine thanks.
I have unassembled my dupray and we are struggling to find out where a small dense, tight spring goes.
It goes behind the trigger lock button which slides into the gap opposite the trigger button.
So I did this and it worked but now my handle is getting too hot to handle….what did I do wrong??
An o-ring might have fallen off so the steam leaks.
