Elk bull beginning the herd

Early Labor Day morning in Estes Park, we found this small herd of elk. The bull bugles and herds the cows with their young as the rut begins! Elk Fest is September 31st in Estes Park, Colorado.

Damn, I forgot how incredible is waa to see an elk.
Recently went on my first hunt and say a five point the first day, a cow and her two calves, and I killed a yearling bull with an injury. But that first bull was a sight to behold all on his own after the rut.
Super cool that you filmed this! It's pretty amazing to see those big game animals in action!
