My suggestion for this fight is blaster charge shot. Also, you can double jump almost every single of Oggdo's moves (except the bite which has a stupidly high hitbox).
Edit: I should probably mention that Blaster Stance was how I beat both Spawn and Double Oggdo on Grandmaster.
I was about to say the same thing.
The Charged Shot from the Blaster Stance can consistently stagger the Spawn of Oggdo out of basically any attack, letting you get in a couple of swings.
Which doesn't make things easy by most measures, but it does make it much more doable.
What i just beaten him on jedi grandmaster without that. Why if i knew that i wouldn't spend the last half an hour fighting him.
This is what I'd suggest aswell, the charged shot can stun most enemies out of their unblockable moves

blaster stance and dash, then the fight is fairly manageable, made it on gm on first try same with the tear though it was a lot more nerve racking.
I love the Easter egg from Jedi Battle Scars with the poncho. It would appear that the default poncho is pink, and Cal remarks to himself in Jedi Battle Scars that he once wore a pink poncho. Nice little tie-in there

I beat it quite quickly. you can jump all the attacks and they attack one at a time on Jedi knight
I don't know if coincidence, but if you fight Spawn of odgo first, it usually get in the way of the other. I have no idea why, but it happened often enough that Spawn of Ogdo went down first

Hello there. This is where the fun begins. I'm glad I didn't have to wait long for this. Now you should go to Domas shop and find the force tear.
I figured out the best way to beat him is to force pull one of the hammer bros down so he falls in the pit with you. Then get him and oggdo spawn to fight. If you sit back for a bit it will register you as not in combat and you can open the door then sit in that area and attack. It breaks oggdos ai so he doesn't attack as often.
You may have defeated Spawn of Oggdo but the war is not over yet.
Nobody tell him that Ogdo Bogdo is actually in the game at Doma’s shop

At long last! Andrew unlocked the legendary poncho but grew a little insane in the process.
Oh, cool, I can't believe andrew didn't notice that. When the hammer guy died to the SoO, the xp from the kill transferred to the SoO!
The thing I find most funny is cause a few months ago he was wondering if oggdo bogdo or oggdo bogdo type enemies will be in the game and he was correct😂
I played on Jedi Master and beat him in like, 10 tries. Maybe a few more. The hard part is that really fast red move. Where he rears back then bites in like a millisecond. It's crazy. That move is broken as Hell. The rest are easy to dodge or block but that one move takes a lot of health and he often follows up with another bite. And, those bites have more range than you would think. I died a few times thinking I was far enough away to heal, only to catch the second bite. And, the fact that you only get the ponchos that suck (besides the Kashyyyk one). They don't give you the coolest ones. The fabric ones. I loved the ponchos from the first game. Though, I like the vests he has. I actually am HOURS into the game and I still almost always wear the vest and even the pants. I usually wear and found or bought shirt though. I feel like he wouldn't want to war Jedi robes as he is a warrior. not a true peacekeeper. The fact that he uses a gun says it all. The thing I hate the most about the game, the cross guard stance. They turned what was a super cool saber concept into something stupid. The Transformers saber. The fact that they have a pummel, somehow come out an emitter, is beyond me. Why would they make the cross guard (if they must have it) have a pummel when it's already a saber staff? It's long enough. Makes no sense. They should've used a duel saber reverse grip as one of the stances instead of the cross guard. Also, where did he learn to use a cross guard? He would cut off his own hand without training in it.

The blaster stance and charged shot helped me immensely here. Also I triggered the door to open and immediately jumped back on the roof and started pushing all the droids down into the pit to fight him

I've never raged as much as I did trying to defeat this boss. Ended up changing to story difficulty rather than destroying my controller etc.

So I did this on grandmaster. I had zero issues (after several attempts and learning) with any attack EXCEPT that cursed tongue attack. Take that out and I’m chilling. But there are two ways of cheesing this boss-1. Force pull the big guys up top down and let them fight it and 2. If you eliminate everything on that platform and jump/dash towards the back door you can open it before combat is initiated. Then he can’t get you thru the door. I did resort to the second cheese option because of its tongue.
Every time he sticks tongu3 out, force pull it then you pick him up and hes on two legs, then you can hit or force push him

Bombastic just know you are close to the spot where the story gets GOOD
If you have the slicing ability and the electro dart you can dart and control the droids before going into combat. You can pull all of the raiders down as well and force confuse them to fight as well. For the tongue, you need the upgraded pull and you can force pull his tongue out of his mouth and cut it off. Then he won't use that red attack anymore. He'll continue to do the double attack that is blockable. If you have the stronger blocking perk you should be fine. He is an annoying fight.
I was watching this, and his total game deaths from the last video were 4, and because of the deaths in this game, he is now at 17. Ongo is a menace
You can cheese this boss; If you rush around to the side of the chest (between the wall and the chest) the boss will be unable to reach you so it loses interest. You can then shuffle a little bit to throw your lightsaber at it and it won't even aggro the boss!
Also, you think one if bad? Sense the Force Echo here, then at Doma's Shop to open up the Force Tear.. ..you fight TWO!!
I can only imagine what oggdo is going to be in the third game...
we're gonna fight 3 versions of oggdo just like this game would let us fight 2 versions of oggdo
The Oggdo for the third game won't have a health bar

I used a door glitch. I started doin the same thing you did by bringing the hammer guys with me. If you do that and Oggdo is busy with them on the other side of the room, you can open the door for the shortcut if you're lucky (it usually says "unavailable in combat", but if Oggdo is busy you can do it). After that it was just standing in the door way and some hit and retreat. It usually can't follow you in, you only have to dodge the tongue attach every once in a while.
Love the vids man and you can change the direction the vents point out on the crossguard stance

I died to Oggdo like 15 times, mostly because I have really bad reflexes. Don't evade, always jump.
You need to use the cross guard Sabre… it’s stupid powerful… slow… but powerful. And has great defense… the dual wield sabers have the lowest defense

At 10:38 the creature that is there if you interact with it (which you did) then go to doma’s hut or smth and interact with her pet a force tear will appear
Just Go to Skills - Resilience and in the right chose focus Sight. This skill is practical and help in most melee attacks, and Bosses. You have to hold circle and to have Focus. Even sometimes this ability glitch and dodge and the blaster shots and red attacks.
That hammer guys idea was pure minty genius brother

I beat this second try on jedi grandmaster by just using the hammer dudes and jumping over his unblockable attacks. It's really not much harder on grandmaster aside from the fact that he oneshots you.
Did you know, there is one more secret boss and its ogdobogdo and spawn of ogdo double fight, enjoy when you found it 😀

I played through the game on grand master and I fought this guy at the end of the game when I had a ton of powers but he still took me 4 hours, which is longer than I spent on any other boss
The Rancor is harder than him, or the Swap Mogu, because their are 3 of them :|
Then you got the 3 Bounty hunters in the underground thing.
Cheesed this fight by opening the pits roof and jumping to the edge before falling in. Then I kept shooting the boss and fought every raider and droid in the fort to reclaim the ammo

The spawn of oggdo is worse than oggdo bogdo. One of my friends said the trick to make it easier is to force pull the hammer boys onto the same level as you and get them to fall in the pit with you.

I fought spawn of oggdo and oggdo bogdo last night and somehow managed to do it in 2 or 3 tries, I had adrenaline rushing through my veins

Beat the story Jedi Knight difficulty and started going around picking up remaining crates etc. I encountered him early on, I said I’ll come back later when I beat the game. I put it on story mode for him eventually lol. I can’t deal with the frustration. Story mode is actually kind of fun for casual playing, you are basically indestructible but it looks cool.
I cheesed the hell out of this fight. Basically, I triggered the door opening, and jumped out before falling in.
Then I pulled the raiders off that ledge.
I let them chase around the hole until they were on the same side as me. (This is where the cheese comes in.)
The game’s AI can’t detect Cal when he’s on the open doors, so the Raider stops chasing you.
It’s at this point you can finagle him into the hole using force push.
Do this with both Raiders, and it gets Spawn of Oggdo down to about half health (on Jedi Knight difficulty)

Went to fight Ogdo Bogdo very early when I had like 3 stims. Biggest regret of my life after an hour I gave up. finished the story now hopefully will go better.
I actually came across this boss by accident. I just blindly explore for a long time, so I don't know what's actually rare encounters or not.
Now i know why they didnt talk about the poncho being in the game

This wasn’t as hard as I thought. What I did was by fluke I was close enough to the edge that I jumped out once the door opened and was able to pull the two bedlam smashers into the pit. The frog took one of them out but the other one just about killed him. I then jumped down and easily finished the spawn of oggdo off and then took out the other smasher.
Literally beat Oggdo Boggdo the same way as you, but I stayed up above on the platform and I waited for it to get distracted by the knight guys, then I snuck in behind them, opened the chest because I wasn’t technically “in battle” got the poncho, opened the door outwards, and beat him from the safety of the doorway😂😂

I spent about 2 and half hours just making that same run from the meditation point, past that single b1- to the pit. Over. And over. And over.
i force pulled the two hammer losers into the pit and managed to stay above
they got killed but i was able to jump down and one hit ogdo on grand master
was pretty stoked

Not the rarest boss. I ran into it early game by just exploring the fort. I think the rarest is the dungeon that had a Rancor by itself and 3 bosses with lightsabers together. It's way off the beaten path and you need story abilities to get to and complete. The frog you can get to when you just land on Koboh, although it is a really really hard boss, fast with wide attacks.
I was so incredibly distraught when after all of that, I enthusiastically opened the crate expecting something truly amazing, and was rewarded with a ... poncho. I hate the poncho. I never used the poncho in the first game and refuse to wear it now. Is it possible to pawn the poncho? Maybe I could sell the poncho at a traveling poncho pawn show!

Oggdo is so hard because none of the evades seem to work against his red attacks. If they do the timing window to dodge must be insane. The only way to successfully dodge seems to be to jump, double jump, evade.

Oggdo bogdo was in fallen order and was widely considered the hardest boss in the game
I managed to do this in Jedi grand master… and by managed I mean I cried regularly banging my head hoping eventually I would get the win.
Oggdo bogdo was an enemy in Jedi Fallen Order, this is his spawn, his child
spawn of oggdo took me two hours to beat, that was on grandmaster
Spawn of Oggdo is hard even on Story Mode.
I am getting Dark Souls wibes from that Boss Battle, Basically Star Souls!
Imagine the next game you fight the spawn of rick
trying to beat spawn of oggdo on grandmaster is pain. everything else until this has been bearable, and im at the final boss lol
My suggestion for this fight is to pull one of the Hammer guys down from the roof and drop down with him, he hits harder and has more health.
