I think it is safe to say that reason that followers/viewers felt either disturbed or entertained by the prank video is because it explored a situation that most of society fears or has some concerns about. Otherwise, some would not have found it funny or upsetting...or it would not have been thought up as a prank. I don't believe that I know your family in depth, but I find your channel to be enjoyable. I think you all will have to accept expressions/comments from viewers whether you agree with them or not because you are making content for viewers to look at on a public platform. And people are going to have opinions, rightly so. It appears to be apparent that some of the comments tapped a sensitive area, not in your marriage, but in the relationship between you all and your views. I like some of the pranks, however some are a little too harsh for my taste-- but I don't make the final call, so oh well! Overall, I like the content that you all produce. Good luck on future productions! I am sending good vibes! :-)
All marriage these days are fragile and can turn sour in the blink of an eye, that's why there is a divorce rate that's close to 60%. When she said she was leaving her kids and going back to America cut him deeper than anything. His love for her and his children pushed over the edge...she went way too far. Strong or weak relationships should not be pranked!!!
I think pranks are fine. When you talk about divorce, and leaving, its a little cringe worthy, and probably hit close to home for some people.
When he said he felt like slapping her face, I knew it was gonna receive some comments lol. He looked so genuinely hurt and Sam looked genuinely worried she went too far. I'm glad all is ok. We know you love each other.

I’m not adverse to pranks but I personally don’t find pranks that messes with someone’s emotions enjoyable to watch, just like I wouldn’t choose to watch someone being abused physically or mentally. That being said you should only apologise if you feel it was wrong which you clearly don’t but at least you have cleared it up. Going forward I will look out for your disclaimer and will not watch if it’s something similar to your last video

I was worried for Sam because when someone gets their heart broken they can snap/temporary insanity especially since we are already living in a intense time with covid-19. I had no negative words, wasn't mad at Sam in the other video just truly concerned that one of these I'm cheating on you, I am leaving you pranks can get someone hurt.

I didn’t like it either but for different reasons than some of the comments I seen people leave. There’s been a lot of youtubers who do these kind of prank videos in a relationship, even though there a prank, the subconscious mind works in very strange ways - and that is logged into your subconscious and will not work in your favor in the future even though you’re not consciously aware of that. Eventually these kinds of mean-spirited pranks start to wear on the honesty of the relationship.
You are somewhat new in your relationship - at least at the level that you are now having moved to France about a year ago.
I think it’s good growth - both in your relationship, and as an artist creating videos.
I would love to know that you have committed to having more respect for each other in these prank video however. You can still do prank videos, but when they become mean they lose some of their value.
I didn’t lose any respect for you or feel any ill will, But I did feel a little sad because I know how the subconscious mind works and how this can affect your relationship long term.

Exactly. The people complaining seem like the type to be so desperate to keep a man that they do not even have fun in their relationship. Sam and Al B are solid so I don't understand why people were more offended than him, it's really weird. Her prank was really good. As a new audience member and seeing that particular prank “I’m leaving” boyfriend or husband was too hard to watch and he was too calm for me.
However, when he starting crying after mentioning mother leaving him and children was much to watch and I wasn’t even invested with the family prior videos. I was upset watching it and I was like...”What mother does that? So, watching all the other video with getting Sam back was fine by me as a prank.
Although, I understand it wasn’t real even though Sam said it was going to be mean and hard. I guess the act of doing it was more than many can bare. I understand that people want to place people into groups of a category and want them to stay like what the think or witness at first sight but people grow and change.
Also, I am not married to either one of you and nor do I have any business investing any kind of advise as a permanent Caricature within your relationship. Do you and be happy because at the end of the day it doesn’t have anything to do with us or our feelings.

I have been a subscriber since you had 3k subscribers. I love your channel and the family and cooking videos. I live in USA and work for an agency that supports small businesses thru loans and grants. Because most states (and countries) have stay-in place orders, folks can't support small businesses, which has resulted in massive employee layoffs. Two weeks ago was my first time commenting on UA-cam. Since many UA-camrs monetize their channels and are considered small businesses, I wanted to support by my favorite UA-cam channels, including your channel, by increasing the channels' views and watching LONG ads in hopes that you all would make money from the ads. Since I'm working from home, I mute the sound while the videos play most of the day. I just happened to take a break when that video was playing. Ironically, I would not have commented if we were not in this crisis.
Here's what I want to convey.. your viewers are mostly women and we come from different generations (sis, auntie, mama, and grandma). Therefore, the "compassionate" opinions you received was out of love and not anger. No one is mad with you and if they were, so what. As shown below, many still didn't retract the comments they made about the video, neither am I. I've been married over 20 years and I know that words will either heal, steal or kill. The prank was very uncomfortable to watch because Alb's reaction was so intense, I literally had to past forward through a lot I felt so bad for him lol. But I don't believe it's our place as an audience to be offended over it especially if you too reached an understanding about it because only know what you choose to show us, the rest is your personal, private life and doesn't concern us.

I was really uncomfortable watching it and I felt bad for him. You could see he genuinely loves her, well they love each other. Hello from Florida, first time viewer and the UA-cam Algorithm immediately populates the prank video , following this video so I was blessed to be introduced to you all before actually seeing the Prank. I have only made it to minute 6:08 in the video and I had to come back and write this comment. I am not going to even read the comments on the Prank video for fear of spreading negative energy. None the less your acting skills are " immense" and when they come a knocking with those scripts make sure you know Price $$$!
