Awesome video. I just got the 16ft version and plan to install it this weekend. You are appreciated. Allen

Great setup and very helpful. I appreciate you sharing. I want to make my gate into a smart gate as well accept my gate is close to my house so wifi is no problem.
Could you please do a video showing how to hook up the Sonoff smart switch?

Just curious. I assume rhe direct burial wire is 120v. Is it 12/2 or 10/2 because of the distance?

Definitely 120v only. But the size looks like 12 gauge. It was put in by my dad in 1992-3 ish and probably the cheapest thing he could get his hands on. LOL It was barely enough to keep the lights on at the road. But it has since failed and we don't know where. So, I've installed solar panels and batteries at the gate. That too has now not been sufficient enough to keep all the things going I have up there. I tried to see if the power company would run power up there, but they want too much money. Copper today is super expensive, so we don't know what to do at this point. I guess I need to make another video about it. :)
