I enjoyed this one so much I had to watch it twice. I see you passed the white Lexis two mornings in a row, I guess you have a good idea who gives you room and who doesn’t when you work your normal hours. That skinny front tire likes to follow the grooves when you’re on the freeway, you do a good job keeping it under control. If you’re not running 80 you’re in danger of being run over here in Georgia, I hit 90 coming home last week and some idiot still tried to tailgate, I finally moved far right to get him off my butt, I don’t know what his problem was. Have a good weekend and ride safe.
Thank you. Yes I see mostly the same vehicles everyday & know who will try to block me, who will race me to the next light & who's on their cell phones not paying attention. Yes the front tire follows the groves in the road and some of those groves are a couple inches different from the lane right next to it. It gets very difficult when lane splitting to stay out of those groves & keep the bike under control at times. The freeway also has big height changes at every overpass that I have to watch for so I don't get thrown up in the air off the seat. I have the same problem with people speeding up behind me. Sometimes they want to race. Sometimes I think they just want to see the bike closer. Sometimes they are just idiots speeding
That was a helluva lot of lane splitting. Some people are nice and / or paying attention & move over for ya and others are like clueless. I think lots of people don't even look in their rear-view or side mirrors. Good job on staying safe!
It was a bit. So many were on their cell phones they never saw me coming so I had to watch them carefully. Most of the trucks moved over a bit, except the gardener who was so intent at watching me in his mirror he wasn't watching where he was going. The one trucker who didn't move over? I don't know what his problem was. Probably from out of state where they don't allow lane splitting. As you saw there were a couple times I had to slow down a lot, almost to a stop, just to be sure they weren't going to panic and squish me. Thanks for commenting
I miss doing the #TBT vids as well. I've not been mentally in the right place to do them right now. I do them unscripted from memory and so much going on lately that I can't think straight to remember the facts. I need to sit down and make a list of what I've already done so I don't repeat myself and a list of ideas for new ones and get my mind clear. Then I'll restart the #TBT Thank you for your encouragement
It's not as dangerous as you'd think. Most professional truck drivers will give you room and can hold their lane. You just got to be able to hold your line make sure there's enough room and you'll be OK. Thank you
it is sitting and waiting to be repaired when I'm able to work on her again. That will be awhile as I have to have another surgery, this time on my left hand during Christmas break. I miss riding her. Thanks for commenting
LOL I was mentally telling myself, "watch it, watch it" as I was doing it, ( to the drivers not me ). You got to keep your wits about you whenever you lane split and watch every vehicle ( drivers motion ). They usually give an indication of what they're going to do or not do and you can sometimes make brief eye contact with them in their mirrors. Just watch the front wheels for motion & hands of drivers. It's amazing what you see when you practice observation skills. Believe it or not I always ride safe even if it doesn't always look like it. Thanks

artfully done on the highway, lots of trucks !
Thank you & yes lots of trucks everyday, all day long. Bakersfield is a main artery for truckers.
The mirrors is very nice, original Harley?
Thanks, not original Harley mirrors. They're Arlen Ness "Blue Saphire" mirrors, have a blue tint to reduce headlight & sun glare
Thanks 👍
trafic jam ... man I wish we could do that here
I'm glad we can do it legally here. It saves a lot of time not sitting in traffic plus it's fun. Thanks
Some good riding and splitting. Stay safe out there ..
Thank you i always try to even if it doesn't look like it sometimes lol
What happened to TBT? I miss your yarns. Enjoyed the vid.

I just worry about being stuck in the blind spot which is huge, I know from past experience, one might come over momentarily towards the line.
yes but as you see I slow down or stop and watch for that and always leave myself a way out & enough room to get through Thanks
Love the lane split vids mate. RSM8
Thank you! I do enjoy a good lane splitting ride back & forth to work
Hi, your roads are much wider then ours but we must have the same AH lol good vlog
Yes we do have wider roads but they've not been maintained well for years.
