The word translated as "alone" is an adverb and not an adjective in the original text. The implication is that the word qualifies the verb "justify" rather than the noun "faith". James is in essence saying that man is justified by works and not only by faith. He does thereby not deny that Abraham was justified by faith alone when he believed the promise (which is Paul's point in Rom. 4). Rather, he asserts that Abraham was also justified by works when he offered his son. His actions showed his faith to be genuine.
How can a man with DR. in from of his name speak over an hour about justification and not one time mention the blood of Christ? "But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived." 2 Timothy 3:13 KJV

Don’t confuse the physical red and white blood cells shed with what it meant “Christ’s sacrifice of Himself for the payment of our sins.”
@@bobs3729 The atonement has EVERYTHING to do with the blood. It is what Jesus took into the holy place for the Father to declare the unjust to be justified. Without the blood you have no payment for sins.
Rom 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him. 10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. 11 And not only this, fnbut we also exult in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation. We are not “saved”with the physical blood of Christ, but the eternal life that He gives to unregenerate that is dead in their sin. His sacrifice took away our sin guilt on our behalf took the punishment we deserved of Father’s wrath so we don’t have to. To focus on the Christian-eze “there’s no mention of the blood..” is to ignore the NT hammering over and over , even quoting the OT “the just shall live by faith”. Granted “faith in what”? Is the unspoken question but is inferred that “we can’t, but God can.” Justification by faith (alone) is from Adam and Eve to Abraham to the Syrian washing in the muddy Jordan to Habakkuk to the woman at the well to Heb 11 to us today, unless the mans need to “earn” Gods favor get in the way. Then rom 4:3 For what does the Scripture say? “ABRAHAM BELIEVED GOD, AND IT WAS CREDITED TO HIM AS RIGHTEOUSNESS.” 👉4 Now to the one who works, his wage is not credited as a favor, but as what is due.👈 5 But to the one who does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited as righteousness, 6 just as David also speaks of the blessing on the man to whom God credits righteousness apart from works:

This guy is a joke and a false teacher! No one is ever saved by faith alone. James 2:19-24, Hebrews 5:7-9. Without repentance and baptism for the forgiveness of sins you will die in your sins and God can’t exist with sin. Don’t believe this guy!
So no repentance, confession or baptism. Also, the Demons believe and tremble, James 2 so apparently they are saved. Do you remember "Legion"? In the gospels. Named legion for there were many demons that had taken over a man. When Legion saw Jesus he ran toward him and fell down and WORSHIP him and acknowledge him as the Son Of God, guess he was saved. Anyways, we are saved by faith, by an obedient faith and saved by faith when? Gal 3:26-27 " children of God through faith, for as many of you who have been baptized into Christ have PUT ON CHRIST." so you are saved by faith when you are baptized into Christ. Also read Romans 6:1-8 Col 2:11-15 Mark 16:16 James 2 There are many unsaved believers in the NT
when we believe death burial and resurrection for the remission of sin (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) we are spiritually baptized by the holy spirit into the body of christ! after that point we are in christ and christ is in us, demons are not candidates for salvation regardless what they do, think or say! salvation is for humans only!! Titus3:5 He saved us, not by the righteous deeds we had done, but according to His mercy, through the washing of new birth and renewal by the Holy Spirit. Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. Christ plainly states in John 3:16 that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. So the notion of unsaved believers in Christ is an oxymoron.

That is a misquote of the Scriptures. Paul does not write that faith is useless without love. He says that we are nothing if we have faith but no love. However, we are not saved because we are something. We are saved solely by the grace of God.
@thinkerj Most inaccurate, as Paul teaches even if one has ALL FAITH, but does not love , it is useless, thus refuting the unbiblical man made tradition of faith alone!
Is the unspoken question but is inferred that “we can’t, but God can.”
Justification by faith (alone) is from Adam and Eve to Abraham to the Syrian washing in the muddy Jordan to Habakkuk to the woman at the well to Heb 11 to us today, unless the mans need to “earn” Gods favor get in the way.
Then rom 4:3 For what does the Scripture say? “ABRAHAM BELIEVED GOD, AND IT WAS CREDITED TO HIM AS RIGHTEOUSNESS.”
👉4 Now to the one who works, his wage is not credited as a favor, but as what is due.👈
5 But to the one who does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited as righteousness,
6 just as David also speaks of the blessing on the man to whom God credits righteousness apart from works:
WHAT IS THE TRUE MEANING OF BELIEVE IN GOD. ABRAHAM BELIEVED IN GOD AND SATAN ALSO BELIEVED IN GOD AND WHO IS THE TRUE BELIEVER OF OUR GOD AND OUR LORD JESUS. DO YOU THINK SATAN WILL BE SAVED BECAUSE HE BELIEVED IN GOD?.
Jesus died for the salvation of humanity, not for satan and demons... get over your childish behaviour, stop putting God at your petty level of mind state.
If you believe you do! If you believe you praise! If you believe you love! Does Satan do them? Are you an atheist?
@@olgaburgos7780 If you believed in GOD then do his commandments RIGHT? as our Lord JESUS CHRIST said IF YOU LOVE ME DO MY COMMANDMENTS.
@@namefamily4485 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. [38] This is the first and great commandment. [39] And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. [40] On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
Also read Romans 6:1-8 Col 2:11-15 Mark 16:16 James 2 There are many unsaved believers in the NT
when we believe death burial and resurrection for the remission of sin (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) we are spiritually baptized by the holy spirit into the body of christ! after that point we are in christ and christ is in us,
demons are not candidates for salvation regardless what they do, think or say! salvation is for humans only!!
Titus3:5

Christ plainly states in John 3:16 that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. So the notion of unsaved believers in Christ is an oxymoron.
"It is by WORKS and NOT BY FAITH ALONE that we are JUSTIFIED ", for "even if one has ALL FAITH, but does not LOVE, IT IS USELESS ". The false and fallible teachings of James White, have made me a stronger Catholic Christian! Peace always in Jesus Christ our Great and Kind God and Savior, He whose Flesh is true food and Blood true drink
Show your proof from the Bible that we are justified by works?!
Rom 5:1 1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
That is a misquote of the Scriptures.
Excellent though, we are saved by God's grace. Yet, Paul never teaches faith ALONE, nor does Jesus Christ and the Apostles! Peace always in Jesus Christ our Great and Kind God and Savior, He whose Flesh is true food and Blood true drink!

@@halwittner96 Matthew 5:22. Jesus tells us that we can’t call people fools.
This guy, like all Calvinists, is not only disingenuous, but talks out of both sides of his mouth. Calvinists like JW believe in Irresistible Grace Regeneration prior to justification by faith alone, not in justification by faith alone.
