I appreciate how exceptional David was on Idol much more now than I did then. I didn't fall in love with him until final 2 night, so going back and watching earlier performances is really exciting. Phenominal talent. Love Paper Heart, his latest song which may be on his new cd.

I think David Cook is the best that show has ever discovered, but if you're familiar with the AI crowd at all, you're not allowed to say that. Some fans of other contestants are very vicious in their bias. Most of David Cook fans are out of that bubble but it's still hard to get support due to the stigma. I hope more people outside of Idol would give him a chance.

everytime David performs I get chills, the difference between Cook's rendition and Stefano is connection, Cook connects to every single song he performed which made the audience feel the true meaning of the song. Stefano has a great voice but no where close to Cook's intensity.
I really wanna know if Simon actually met Lionel Richie in the supermarket... Anyway, fantastic rendition. Now whenever I hear the original version I expect that drawn-out "I love you!" at 1:15 and feel a little disappointed when it doesn't come...
