One thing he forgot to mention is that this printer does not support 5ghz wifi networks. So it won't connect unless both your phone/laptop and printer are on the 2.4ghz network. Once connected, you can switch your phone/laptop back to 5ghz and then it will all work just fine.

I found an app called canon print in place of that app which is similar in functionality. And thanks for the instructions. Now I am able to print through wify. Thank you so much brother.
The best advice for this crappy printer is do not buy it.... You're better off winning the lottery than trying to set up the Wi-Fi on this piece of garbage
If you're trying to connect on a 5ghz network, it won't work. Use 2.4ghz and it will setup just fine. Afterwards u can switch your phone or mobile back to 5ghz and it will still work. Hope this helped. Cheers.
