this is a weird time for me, as this is the last twilight tober zone, and my last halloween as I turn 18 next year, this series was an important part of my teen years and I'm gonna miss it a lot. thank you walter!

Thank you so very much Walter. These past five years have been quite an adventure. If nothing else, having a little spooky treat each day of October for the past five years has been a great comfort. ESPECIALLY when thinking back to the episodes of 2020 and 2021. In a time of uncertainty, this constant was very welcome.
So when are we doing a Night Gallery run? LOVE to see that! When I was a kid, I only knew Twilight Zone from reruns, but was young enough to catch the tail end of the original run of Night Gallery - the theme song alone scared the crap out of toddler-me!

What an incredible five year journey I've been proud to be a part of since day 1. I've listened to Twilight Zone podcasts for years, but this is hands down the best UA-cam content around. From age 25 to 30 it's been awesome to look forward to and watch this every year. The times for me went from early pandemic times in an apartment, to a new job, to house buying, to an engagement and wedding. Thank you for this content.

I've just realised that two stars of "To Kill a Mockingbird" were in Season 5: Collin Wilcox and Mary Badham. That's one of my favourite books and films of all time.
Over the course of the last three days I saw an interview about The Eagles song Hotel California. According to the interview the song was written in homage to Sterling’s style of introduction and storytelling in The Twilight Zone.
Bat-May and Twilight-Tober were as delightful as it gets. The sheer love for these two series' shines in every episode reviewed and I hope there's something more like this in the future. Having not seen these series, it's great to be taken through this ride. Thank you, Walter, and stay beautiful.

Well it's been fun everyone. Through the good, the bad and the ugly The Twilight Zone is simply an unforgettable show. Though the Tower of Terror is no more in some of the Disney Parks the show will live on forever and Halloween won't be the same without it.

I started watching the Twilight Zone in middle school, I remember watching my first episode in Seventh grade. When covid hit it was the first series I ever streamed online. I got hooked and loved this series, shortly when this came out it was so cool to learn about this and I loved watching episodes every year. Now I’m a senior and graduating this year and will rewatch an episode every once in a while and use some trivia I learned from this series to friends and family. This was so inspiring and was always a huge inspiration for me to learn more about production about one of my favorite shows. Thank you so much for all you have done and continue to do. I am so grateful and happy to have seen it through and just can’t express my gratitude. Thank you for being there, Thank you for these amazing memories and videos, Thank you in all of this. I can't believe it! We're here at the end of the road. I've always tuned in to watch the Twilight Tober zone. It's been something I've looked forward to these past years during October. I must say that your reviews did encourage me to watch the series. While I haven't wrapped it up(those 1 hour episodes are a drag), I intend to do so in the future. It's been a pleasure learning about the BTS and the long-lasting legacy of this show. A lot has happened since the beginning of this series. We went through a pandemic. This show started when I was in college, and now I've completed that journey. It's been with some turbulence, unfortunately, but the Twilight Tober Zone was always a highlight of the year. Thank you, Walter, for your time and review of the series. While this journey has come to an end, perhaps further down the road, Myself and fellow viewers may come across a strange fork on the road, one that may lead us into... the Twilight Zone.

My high school (Class of '73) always held a Senior Career Day; for anyone who wanted to write for a living, he was the 'teacher' in that classroom, which I attended. Surprised you never mentioned 'The Waltons', which was his concept to completion series: the country roots of that series, which was going strong at that time, resonate with the children in this final TZ episode. No doubt 'Bewitchin' was chosen over 'Marvellous', to echo THAT popular 1960s TV series, also (TV CEOs never put their 🤑🤑 on the line). This has been a fantastic five-year-retrospective. I’d like to just thank you on behalf of everyone for this incredible series!! Having such well done commentary to watch after every episode as I went through the series for the first time was a privilege, and I’m going to miss eagerly anticipating these videos to drop every day.
While the episode may have been less of a grand finale and more of like a rusty old motor-car puttering over the finish line, (not the final Twilight-Tober Zone, this was actually quite beautiful!) this series, both Twilight Zone and Twilight-Tober Zone, have been, are, and always will be super awesome! (And not just because it’s on channel Awesome lol!) Thank you Walter! You are just as much of an amazing creator as Rod Serling was! Thanks a ton! Never sat through much of the Twilight Zone growing up. Sometimes they'd air it on Syfy and I'd watch it on my Grandma's TV. I didn't know how big a show it was, though. Just that it had a big legacy. Great to know more about it!

Please, please, PLEASE continue this format next year with the new series! My kids were introduced to the Zone by my stories of the blue guys who keep forgetting to put my things back in the right time and place. I’ve agreed with on most, disagreed with you on several key episodes but, overall, appreciated your time and energy reviewing every episode. Serling was a modern day Aesop and he should be remembered for leaving us with a loving dedication to the human spirit and including an option for us to learn from our mistakes should we want to.
Not a great final episode but until "Blurryman" in 2019, Twilight Zone never really had what I considered final episodes. I didn't think that it would affect me this much but I'm off my meds so it has. This has been a wonderful series, Walter. Thank you so much for doing this. You made the Twilight Zone come alive and brought back a hundred memories. For four years, this has been something that I looked forward to all year. I don't know if Channel Awesome does this but they need to give you a raise! I love your insights, trivia, appreciation for Rod, the cast, and crew, even the running gags. I don't always feel good and right now, I feel awful but this series is a testament to not only the series itself but their fan's dedication to it. It's been a wonderful journey and I am glad to share it with you.

Looking back, it's obvious to me how TZ was instrumental in how I came to view memory and nostalgia, as well as an "ideal" of a slightly-off world, all of which are central to my work as an historian. Thank you for your work covering these episodes the last few years. I hope you do the other Twilight Zone Series from the 80's, 2002's and 2019's or the move or maybe Night Gallery and maybe it's movie? But if you don't i am glad we have these reviews from the first series there always great to watch anytime in the Twilight Zone.

I’d like to just thank you on behalf of everyone for this incredible series!! Having such well done commentary to watch after every episode as I went through the series for the first time was a privilege, and I’m going to miss eagerly anticipating these videos to drop every day.
While the episode may have been less of a grand finale and more of like a rusty old motor-car puttering over the finish line, (not the final Twilight-Tober Zone, this was actually quite beautiful!) this series, both Twilight Zone and Twilight-Tober Zone, have been, are, and always will be super awesome! (And not just because it’s on channel Awesome lol!) Thank you Walter! You are just as much of an amazing creator as Rod Serling was! And how you brought your coverage of each episode to life is so cool and very creative!!! Thank you for everything, Walter! And you know I’m gonna binge watch the whole of Twilight-Tober Zone, Twilight Zone, (the original and the 80s show and movie) and even Bat-May, and BTAS!

Thanks a ton! Never sat through much of the Twilight Zone growing up. Sometimes they'd air it on Syfy and I'd watch it on my Grandma's TV. I didn't know how big a show it was, though. Just that it had a big legacy. Great to know more about it!

My kids were introduced to the Zone by my stories of the blue guys who keep forgetting to put my things back in the right time and place. I would LOVE to see you take on the newer episodes, and I'd bet others would, too!

I’ve agreed with on most, disagreed with you on several key episodes but, overall, appreciated your time and energy reviewing every episode. Serling was a modern day Aesop and he should be remembered for leaving us with a loving dedication to the human spirit and including an option for us to learn from our mistakes should we want to.

Not a great final episode but until "Blurryman" in 2019, Twilight Zone never really had what I considered final episodes.
I didn't think that it would affect me this much but I'm off my meds so it has. This has been a wonderful series, Walter. Thank you so much for doing this.
You made the Twilight Zone come alive and brought back a hundred memories. For four years, this has been something that I looked forward to all year. I don't know if Channel Awesome does this but they need to give you a raise!
I love your insights, trivia, appreciation for Rod, the cast, and crew, even the running gags. I don't always feel good and right now, I feel awful but this series is a testament to not only the series itself but their fan's dedication to it. It's been a wonderful journey and I am glad to share it with you.

I grew up watching this show in syndication. Looking back, it's obvious to me how TZ was instrumental in how I came to view memory and nostalgia, as well as an "ideal" of a slightly-off world, all of which are central to my work as an historian.
Thank you for your work covering these episodes the last few years. I'd not seen several of them, and I really appreciate the seriousness and research you put into creating your videos-particularly for the episodes you didn't like, which you treated with the same level of respect and examination.
