By thy compassion raise
The crescent of praise
In mind's expanse
So that with conviction
I celebrate excellence
Of Prophet's benediction.
O Crown of Prophets,
Grant me the wits
To assemble my bits
Of praise that befits
The seal of prophets.
Pouring His tributes
The Lord salutes
His creation of thee
As His reason to be
On creative spree.
When that pine bright
Of august light
Did pop upright
The evil dendrite
Of sinister might
Sank in fright.
Tis candle
Of creation
The prophets
With passion
As moths
Circumambulate
Their love
In this state
For illumination
Thence satiate
Tis sun's fade
Was radiant made
When it bade
To kiss the feet
Of his sweet
Shadow’s shade
Thou art the sun
Enlightened on
The occasion
Of ascension.
The shine of this candle
A thousand suns eclipse
All prophets' grace
Thy countenance glimpse
In atomic time
Did thou ascend
To transcend
A seventy thousand
Veils sublime
Of Gnostic prime
That Night
In his guest
His delight
Did rest,
From the evil sight
The Essence of Light
Refuge him blest.
As heavens thou grace
The prophets all brace
For thy kind embrace
Ardent Houries race
For their turn to burn
The stars as rue seeds,
In the censer of sun.
In turn on run
To site of reception;
As there thou belong
With felicitous song
The high angels throng
The heavenly place
For glimpse of thy face.
Christ, the redeemer,
Under awe’s obligation
Sends salutation
Spreads incense
Of aloes and amber
With sun as censer
As that “Sun of Prophethood”
By the divine throne stood
Became privy to secrets, good
The essence under divine hood.
The All Glorious Lord
Lit the crown of light.
Carried him by night
To his station, right.

O Knower of Hidden!
O knower of concealed,
Tis predicament ridden
Besought to be healed
The drape of ignorance
Be done away or peeled.
O bestower of the best,
How from all the rest
Our faults deepest
Do thou cover and hide
Lest public deride
One's shallowness debride
Ostentious piety, abreast
Thou wait long to test
Our will to detest
The sins on thy behest.
Passion for hymns drew
But a select few
When among the crew
Polymaths often view
Themselves nieve and new.
Those who served as shore,
To the boundless oceanic lore
Come, drown evermore.
If ever come ashore
From conviction’s core
Thy Highness implore
Some fruitless, regress
Their all efforts mess
Despair then devours
Their all endeavours.
The sage's synthesis
In the mines of gnosis
Is a sacred process
From naught do they rise
Evolve ever wise.
On Gnostic pedestal
The beings, potential
Discern the actual
Absolute and vital.
For their unknowing tremble
When upon thy sign stumble
“God is Great” they mumble
Their vision’s artifacts
Face macabre crumble.
In deep thoughts drown
Their intellect’s crown.
Those with cognizance
In all obedience
Observe silence
Humbly anounce
“Nothing do they know”
Thus all the discourse
To winds do they throw.
Silence becomes fate
Of mind's saner state
Angst seeks rest
From hackneyed quest
For words appropriate.

O Lord of Expanse
Grant me the verve
Faculty and nerve
To serve
As shore
To the sea of eloquence.
O Lord, The Manifest,
Erase the black dust
Of vile and guile
From the tablet of my breast.
O Clement One,
To thee belongs all Glory
The debt of thy hymnody,
Is no subject of apology
For the reigning autocrat
Or the wretched of fate.
Those who beseech thus,
Acquire the pearl of purpose
Thou ordained for the sun
A lofty station
Thou pull it high
Beyond the mount Sinai.
The solar and lunar face,
The time and space,
Before thy majestic grace
Are tamed and apace.
In ordained orbits
The celestial circuits
Challenging the wits
Fall in line as bits,
As thou command them well
By mystery and spell.
A few lines translated from the Hamoed section of "Mazmoon e Dil" go as:
O Turner of Hearts!
Grant me an immaculate conscience,
So that awake and aware,
Thy hyms' land I fare,
On the rhythm of heartbeat
Thy hyms I repeat.
Or else this heartless wretch
Can't dare strech
The imagination
To fetch
The pearls of thy praise.
Or his voice raise,
Thy attributes appraise.
O Lord! Fill my conscience
With the elixir for Gnostic trance.
Pray as original goal
A resonance
In seat of soul
Reaffirm the sentence
Of 'Yes Thou Art' hence.
O Almighty, the Grand,
No mind can withstand
Tis travail in hyms' land.

May they all hail me,

The station of lote tree.
On thy injunction,
A heart in action
In body's dominion,

O Lord,

Avail his exposition
The elixir of eloquence
To enhance
His passion
For elaboration
Of thy hymn's nuance.
The connoisseurs taught,
How nightmares thwart
Any attempts at this art
From the very start.
Marveling at the signs
Adorning outlines
Of the order
That enshrines
Thy majestic designs,
The intellect that defines
The limits of wit,
Is compelled
To surrender
Before the awe's writ.
Sheer profoundity
Of this art,
Numinous beauty
And
Aesthetics apart
Outrages
The wits of sages
And eludes the profescient.
Tis reproach for nescience
Purports the retreat
To the mystical street
Of gnostic silence
By no leap of imagination,
Can one fathom this creation
Here dust is harvest
Of the conjuctural toil,
And
Nightmarish moil
The vision's spoil.
No one's diction,
Tells fact from fiction
The exercise of contemplation
All speculative predilection,
Some induction,
No intellection!
Despite all insight,
Into tiny and slight
The beauty of an atom
Ends raw mind's thaw,
Inspires awe
Ad infinitum,

On mere a bit of dust
In celestial breast
Oblivious
Of the East,
Remote to the West.
Thou by thy sacred writ
Choose to thrust
The benevolence of sun
Shining on horizon.
Then thou choose to tie
The fate of golden eye
Of the azure sky
To the transcendental pi,
Sending darkness of night,
To flight.
The golden disc of light
Pierces the silver dawn
Before it does fawn
Invoking "YA SABOH"
In the East's lawn
And lends the morn bright.

I am unable to understand why arooj ji is asking questions in urdu as Zakir sahib is replying in our native kashmiri language. Our kashur language is sweet ones she should have used it too in communication.
Mashallah a wonderful podcast...but i would like to suggest some points..
○Being a muslim, one should keep more distance between non mahrams, so if the host is a women and the guest is a man or vis-e-versa , the regulations must be maintained..and in my opinion they are sitting too close , the alignment should be changed.
○ If its about islam or anything related, strict hijab must be maintained !!!
(There is alot missing in terms of hijab, which you can ask an expert scholar)
○ It is better to bring a female host for female guest and male host for male guest!
I don't mean to hurt anyone!!!
