I grew up listening to this old man. I saw him live at The Toro in Raymondville after I got out of basic training in 88. Had a beer with him and told him about the songs in this album (1976) and he said, "Ay esas canciones viejas. Got his accordian out and he sang "Hijo el señor es tu padre" right there. Wish I could've had my phone then.
