Nice trip report. The meals weren't as beautifully decorated like on Japanese carriers, but I'm glad that most of them tasted good. I agree with you about the seat.
Air Canada Signature Class seats on 777, 787 and A330 should be 180-degree lie flat. I have flown those seats many times on YVR-HKG and YYZ-HND/NRT. However, I did find that sometimes, you have to try multiple times to make the seat flat. If you are not able to make it flat, raise the seat back up and recline it again. It would eventually work. The seats are identical to those on American Airlines and Cathay Pacific, etc., with only slight differences. The food is hit-and-miss on Air Canada though. There have been several times that I left the whole plate of main dish almost untouched, but then there were also several times that it's really delicious. Usually it seems that it's the 2nd meal on the flight that is problematic. Air Canada seems to be not putting too much attention into the 2nd meal.
Thanks for sharing. I tried a few times and wasn't able to adjust the seat to complete flat on this flight and have thus found it quite uncomfortable. Maybe it was that seat's problem? And agree to your comments about the 2nd meal. AC treats 2nd meal on int'l long-haul the same way as US airlines. Pretty sad.

Thanks for watching!
Ich flog mal mit Air Canada Jazz von Toronto nach Quebec City. Ich war damals nicht so begeistert.
Vous êtes arrivé à Montréal d'où?

印象に残らない、、、ってどういう意味?
Just a big meh on this one. I can't believe they are still flying with seats that don't fully recline. This is so early 2000s
True. I wasn't having similar nice experience flying Air Canada this time compared with last couple times (also filmed on my channel).
