Thank you sir... but Sir i have a question. u showed that it skipped some ranks when there are more than one in a same rank. but how do we exactly fix that so that it doesn't skip the proper ranks??

Hi, I also was looking for the solution for not skipping ranks, which excel formula does by default.
I got a solution and wanted to share it.
Identify the maximum value in the column which you want to rank. You can use Max formula and lock the range. Then you can subtract the values in the column to rank with this max value. Just add 1 to avoid 0. There you go with the rank without skipping any ranks.
