- PART 2 of segments from a block of Slime Time Live that aired on Nickelodeon Friday, February 9, 2001.
Opens with an unusually elaborate crane shot that smoothly transitions to a tracking shot (either Randy the Camera Man is showing off, or one of the producers wants to be a movie director). An elimination game, plus a few promos are included.
But then things go unexpectedly wrong for the Super Sloppy Slime-Off when there are no callers on the line... But the show must go on! With cool, quick-thinking, Dave proves he deserves to keep his job, and that he's a master of live TV.
Slime Time Live was a favorite show of mine and many others growing up in the 2000s. Unfortunately, the network didn't keep original broadcast recordings, and the only archive of the show comes from home recordings. If you have any rare VHS recordings, be sure to transfer them before they're lost.
If anyone has Nickelodeon UK recordings from the 2000s, would love to hear from you.

Come on come on Nickelodeon
Please upload Slime Time Live segments from April 2001.
Did the ladies of Tik N Tak get slimed at the end of the episode? I remember they often slimed the guest stars they brought on.
No, you're right, they often slimed the special guests. But from memory, I'm pretty sure Tik 'N Tak made it out clean. The last segment they were on would've been their performance (which I don't have), where they were with their instruments (and possibly wired for sound?) and at the end of that, they made the U-Pick of "Rocket Power." They were not seen in any more segments, so they probably bounced right after that.
@@NoughtiesNostalgia Too bad... I love seeing punks and goth girls getting messy!

Trying to find an episode that my son was on. I believe the episode date was 9/21/01. Can't seem to find on UA-cam...
I don't think I have any from around that date, but you can describe the episode here, and maybe someone else can help? Do you remember any special guests? Was it an indoor or outdoors episode? Best of luck!
Indoor episode, my son, Christian, got pied in the face. It was the episode right after 9/11.
Noughties Nostalgia, which Rocket Power episode was the real winning choice?
I gave the schedule & episode info to Nickstory Archives, in case you haven't already checked their website for Feb 9 2001. Hopefully that will give some more helpful info about what aired that day.

no callers this is a weird episode
More than likely it was because of a technical issue with their phone lines. I've seen this kind of problem before on other cable channels. Larry King's CNN show had that problem once, and MTV's TRL also had this issue during an episode where they were trying to have callers do a vote on 2 music videos, which resulted in them using the studio audience to participate instead.
I hope with this kind of snafu, those callers' postcards were put back in the pool, or given prizes automatically.
