Secrets of the Vinyl Flick: BOSS RC-505 Effects Explained - Apr 29th '20

The last of the 4 Boss RC-505 track effects is the Vinyl Flick. In this video I demonstrate hot to use the vinyl flick effect and I show some of its peculiarities ;)
The two main ways in which I use the effect is to
1:10 end my tracks and
6:20 create bass tracks.

The vinyl flick is special, is the only effect in track effect, in channel A, in the last option. And the only thing. But it has a vey good quality. It can also change the mood of a song.

I love the Vinylflick so much, it's amazing what happens if you stretch some sounds ...
I think around 86 it's round half of the tempo, if you take some time and the loop is short, you can record it on half tempo, which can sound just awesome (you can also transform it again with beatrepeat, beatscatter and beatshift)

MIDI controller will allow you to set these parameters. For example it can be set to a range ie. 50 to 55. That should open your options. MIDI control on this thing is very powerful. Look around at controllers, they come in foot, table top, knobs, pedals and more. Even battery powered !
