Floid's move was a wise one, rather than wait to be humiliated by being removed from his current position. It's a pity that some people choose to ignore a threat by Julius at one of the recent press conferences that anyone who dares to contest him as president, could expect his wrath (paraphrasing). These utterances were obviously and mainly directed to the one next in line for presidency, and that is Floid. It is upon him to do everything possible to protect himself and his political career against any threat.

I believe the departure was pre planned,,purely an ambitious plan.. I also think that its early days and Julius has not had time enough to unravel this entire collusion.. When he does realize how badly he was played ,, things will really take a different turn. I also think the MK bright sparks are getting more and more despondent at being sidelined ,, the gap created in the removal of the 18 MPs make me think that the move was to show Floyd the carrots that broke the camels back. Eventually it comes down to power. This is just a simple matter of a fallout between Julius who wants to hold into power until he becomes a state president and Floyd who preferred to jump to the next growing party. Maybe he will feel more expressive under MK than he was in the shadow of Julius. I do not see Floyd having a competition in the leadership of MK as he will be a more powerful political brain there. Maybe it's a good move for him to find his political prowess in the MK than remaining in the shadow of Julius.
