Great video info... I would have not thought of using the beading foot to make the piping. The wave stitch & piping .. two of my new favorite beings. Thank you
This was incredible. THANK YOU so much for showing these lessons. I wish Baby Lock would insist their dealers give classes when someone purchases a Triumph. I've had mine for months and it's just sat there. I don't even know what the feet are for. Thank you again.
Too bad that Baby Lock doesn’t include an instructional DVD with the machine. That would have saved me lots of headaches becoming an Internet/UA-cam/BabyLockWebsite detective. Our experience would have been pure Nirvana, idyllic. Sigh!
Try Gail Yellen youtube instructions. She uses many different Babylock presser feet, some in unusual ways. Her site is dubbed serger tip clips. This how I instruct myself. Craftsy also has good classes. Lately Gail has gravitated to Bernina but she will answer any question and help you.
I have the Evolution and it does have that wave ability on it and I have used it a few times. It is an awesome stitch for sure. Thank you for showing using a cord thru it WOW I love it. God Bless.
What a great idea. Going to add this too my Christmas pillowcases..I also love the idea of the trimming to quarter in as I do not have that one ruler. What a wonderful idea
"Darn it!" I'm so "jealous" of your machine. All I've got is a second hand Pfaff 788 Hobbylock serger that I was "so proud of" until I watched THIS video.... I feel like like someone with champagne taste but with a beer money LOL All kidding aside, I am just learning about working with serger so I thought I better start with something more affordable. Either way, this is a great tutorial. Thank you . You guys are so lucky! :-)
Hi Missy, I know this is an older video, but still great! Do you have a video that shows how to turn that into the binding? Do you like to attach the binding on a quilt with your serger or take it to the sewing machine? Thanks!
Wonderful video! Very well put together and the process was very clearly presented. Can't help but lust after the Triumph, but my Evolution serves me well. I'm very interested in using this technique in quilt binding. Will really add some pizzazz!
Debi, I would like to know what kind of thread you used? Also would this be feasible to use sewing fleece, double blanketS?. I make a lot of them for my Great Grandchildren and I would
Having trouble with the 3/16 in cording. Width isn’t wide enough. Also my upper looper thread keeps breaking. I so want to get this to work. I am using a Enlighten serger with the 5mm cording foot.
Beautiful! Thanks for sharing. Question: On the video on screen it says to have the stitch selector at B but it appears to be on A. Which should it be? A or B?
For the wave stitch the stitch selector should be on B. We just missed that in the video thus the reason for the bright yellow bar at the bottom of the video in that part. ;)
Would someone know the sale price of the 29feet kit for the Triumph? Living in Europe where it is not available (and the Triumph is for some reason called Gloria!) so I would need to know the price do that I can have the kit purchased for me. Thank you
Oh my, great information. I'm new to the Triumph and searching for tutorials. Thank you so much for this.
Truly a first class educator! Thank you…❤

I just purchased this serger and can't wait to sit and learn everything that this amazing thing can do.
I just bought an Acclaim serger yesterday and I'm going to try this technique. Fantastic video that I'm going to save for reference.
this just blows me away! I am fascinated watching this machine work!
Older tutorial but the best I have seen for my Triumph

Can you do a video on wave piping with binding for a quilt? Thank you
Thank you!
Great video. What decorative thread did you use for the wave stitching, black and white threads?
Sulky 12 wt threads were used in the loopers.
Corded Wave Piping: gives the size and type of cording she uses!
My upper looper thread kept breaking when I used the larger cord but worked fine with the smaller cord. Why?

Why is machine set for A while doing wave stitch? I thought you used B or C for wave stitch.
can't wait to try this. Did you use the Sulky 12wt in both loopers?
yes 12wt Sulky in both loopers.
Having trouble with the 3/16 in cording. Width isn’t wide enough. Also my upper looper thread keeps breaking. I so want to get this to work. I am using a Enlighten serger with the 5mm cording foot.
Thanks for the video, very educational!
great video, thanks for the presentation

Did you use a heavier weight thread ? Thanks.
Does this foot work on the Evolution? (Fingers crossed) Great video, thanks!
Yes it would be the same foot, the P5 foot - Cording foot 5mm

Luv to incoperate them? Thank You for the video! Excellent
Who buys these things---prices for BL Line are way overboard. Yes, wonderful and all that 'Jazz' but I need a car!
good info but all that squealing and laughing just made me turn it off
I agree, Missy needs to be quieter and just let the lady do the demo.
