YES! 6 is the best Brandie, of course. The grass is always greener on the other side: as a violinist, this has always been out of bounds... which means I can really just sit back and let the golden mellow goodness wash over me! Your rendering of violas (braccias) and gambas with bassetts and basses is SUPERB! You make them speak like they were sopranos... they must be fine instruments and clearly you know how to get the best out of them. They seem to like working for you! This is a masterpiece. My congratulations: Total success (what does that feel like?!)
'Bell-Key Conclave'..wonder why Bach left out violins in this Six-Pack of his. The low register, a two-pronged pleasure, bone conduction and tugging your ear. Great music, exceptional playing Mr. Young! Kudos.
This was beautiful!! I like that you kept the original key of Bb, some recordings switch to C Major. Also, I enjoyed the almost techno sounding lower ranges you used! This was a wonderful version to play along to with my keyboard's Harpsichord setting! Thanks for sharing it! (Might I suggest Handels Queen of Sheba or Winter by Vivaldi? These would be amazing on the recorder:)
Thanks! Actually this key worked well for the Basses. Up a step would have brought it out of range on lots of the high passagework. And I will add those pieces to my list - great suggestions.

This is my favourite brandeburg concerto. And the baß flute takes it to a whole new level
Superb!
You are without a doubt the best music channel on UA-cam. I really enjoy your videos and have great admiration for the work you do on them.
Best Recorder content too.
Yes! Can you do please Bach Brandenburg Concerto #4-3 for Low Recorders.
I'm so happy that you've started posting again. I would to see you perform the 4th movement of the 1st Brandenburg Concerto.
Thanks! That's definitely on my short list.
Always great. Thanks for sharing.
Very well done
I've watched this channel since you first uploaded Brandenburg 2 with melodica and recorders.

keep the amazing work man. i love this concept
Thanks so much!
Beautiful! Nice how you handled range with the swapped octaves, it came out well, not jarring at all as it can sometimes be when you have to do that.

@@JamesHowardYoung Thank you!! Glad to hear!
Just a humble suggestion : how about arranging Rachmaninoff's isle of the dead for recorder ensemble?
Thanks for the recommendation. Will check it out.
