Damn! That works good for bush hogging too!😳 You're pretty good operator. I have that setup but 50 HP💪👍
It gets buy 👍😃
Looks so much nicer when it’s cleaned up. The mower does a great job Phil. So does the driver of the tractor 🚜
Thanks for watching Gary

Hello there! I've had both the 60 inch and the 72 inch version of this same mower. My fields were primarily sandy loam....with more sand than loam. I learned after some research you can get what are effectively called "sand" blades for the deck that are thicker and able to take more of a beating. If you have a well manicured grass lawn, the medium or high lift blades will work better, give you a higher tip speed, and give you a much nicer cut. Best wishes!
Thank for your input ! Never would have considered that about Sand blades Not a real problem here but good to know !
My only concern with the Dixie is the arm controls they seem awfully thin in diameter? But the have been using them that way forever so must be ok
Thanks again
Phil
@@PetersonFarmsofNashvillePFON Hey there! The recommendation for the sand blades were for your forays into super high fields with your finish mower. The thicker blades will take more of a beating and last longer than the thinner high lift or medium lift blades in that type of material.
Great video! Nice sharing!have a wonderful day stay connected my friend. 🍷🍷
Thanks for watching
Have a great week !

I know finishing mowers will tackle some tough stuff, but I wouldn’t put my finishing mower what you putting yours through lol. I’d hook up my Bush Hog.
My finishing mower is a 6’ LMC brand, made by “Shaktiman” in India. It’s distributed by Lowery Manufacturing in Boaz, Alabama.
Good video for sure!
Yes you are right about abusing it
I’m sure it will get me at some point
Hope not
I was thinking the same thing not sure mine would cut like that without smoking the belt its Taylor-Way 6' .
I’ve been back-and-forth whether I want a finish mower or a bush hog I think you’ve made my mind up I’m going to get the finish mower I’m getting my tractor from Murfreesboro
Very nice you will be very happy with it 👍
Hi Phil, that is a wonderful job!!! How long did it actually take. I do appreciate how you care for your property and how your opening photos acknowledge your special people in your world.
About 2hrs I would say a acre and a half
Appreciate the comment about the video opening
They are all special in their own way !

I have the 1660 land pride and have been impressed how heavy duty it is. The mower alone weighed nearly as much as my old 23hp simplicity zero turn. Is it made for brush? No, but the blades are near 1/4” thick and at worst you dull them…or maybe break a belt. Not the end of the world either way. Thanks for the video. BTW what you got there on the hip? Besides tractors that’s my other ‘hobby’.
Yep it seemed to pass the test
Was smart about it
Did not go after any big stuff will leave that for the chainsaws
Ruger Security 9
Always carry it along with a few other friends wherever I’m at
Thanks for watching watching and sharing

Looks like you should be using a bush hog. What model mower is that and how's it holding up for you?
Great
It’s a beast and still lays down a manicured cut on my land
Landpride Finish mower
Thanks for watching
Does the Land Pride have any problem with the belts ?
No problem at all 👍
Still going strong!
