Nimrodel (Nim - white; rod - little cave; el ~ lady, or something like that) is the river on the borders of Lothlorien where the Fellowship rested for the first time after the death of Gandalf in the deep of Khazad-dûm. It is also the name of the lady that dwelt there ages ago. In this song I feel like the stories of these two characters are mingled in their grief. It encapsulates the beauty and tragedy of the lores, making us experience the feelings that must have been felt by Frodo and the other hobbits at that moment.
not only the little ones who wandered beyond the borders of the Shire felt stricken with grief at that time in their journey some showed it more than others ... which is likely due to the warriors being somewhat accoustumed to friends falling, bein g struck down, before their eyes
Très belle interprétation d'un des titres cultes de ce fabuleux groupe. Un vent de fraicheur et de renouveau souffle sur cette reprise qui a une vraie âme et qui suscite une véritable émotion. C'est formidable de la part de lycéens cette idée de reprendre en 2018 de tels morceaux peu connus du grand public et plus du domaine des fans du rock prog. Chapeau bas et bravo à tous les musiciens....

Il faut lui envoyer, si ce n'es tpas déjà fait... Et le look late sixties/early seventies en prime - que les mecs de Camel n'avaient pas de manière aussi flamboyante mais on s'en fiche, c'est super ! Le décor me rappelle un peu les décos de Roger Dean pour Yes ! J'ai l'impression qu'il y a un super prof de musique au lycée Millet qui aime le rock progressif et qui a transmis ça à des élèves pleins de talent... C'est magnifique ! Et la version en studio sonne encore mieux ! Franchement, quelle belle surprise... ca me donne envie de venir à Cherbourg !
