Blake Griffin Offense Highlights 2013/2014

- Part 2: • Blake Griffin Offense ...
I decided not to put all the "highlight" dunks at the beginning because there were simply too many and also because I do not want viewers to label Griffin as a mere dunker with no other abilities on the court. As you will see in this video, he can do a lot more than just dunk.
Blake Griffin's post moves, dunks, jumpshots, spin moves, crossovers, jump hooks, step back jumpers, passing...
Credits to the NBA, the sole owner of these highlights.

As much as I love CP3, that month while he was injured was the best thing that could have happened to Blake. In that month, he learned how to be a leader and how to dominate the game. He averaged 31 points (lead the league), 11 rebounds, and 4 assists in that month. Those are dominant numbers. Best power forward in the league right now in my opinion.
Great improvement. Serious skill, serious athleticism. This guy is now a complete player.
I remember when coming into the league Skip said Bake wouldn't be able to dominate because he was raw athelticism and that wouldn't work in the NBA since he was also undersized. Well not only has Blake improved his mid range jumper, he has vastly improved his offensive skills such as ball handling, footwork in the post facing up and he can still bully smaller defenders with his back to the basket. His passing out of double teams remains an underrated part of his game as well. And that trait he showed in his rookie year. Blake is a beast and will soon be a top 5 player in the league.
Very soon he's maybe like #5
he was a top 5 this year... it was lbj/durant/Melo/Blake/CP3
Brandon Collister
I know you posted this two months ago, but Blake wasn't in the top 5.www.ibtimes.com/top-50-best-basketball-players-2013-2014-nba-season-1581386
also here are the raw stats
espn.go.com/nba/statistics/_/year/2014
he's really improving this year..his ball handling and patience in the post is beautiful
everybody says "all he can do is dunk". that crossover? spin move? improved post offence? improve jumpshot?
Blake is just getting better and better
Blake is a beast. I put him #3 behind James and Durant. But Blake's game is the most exciting to watch.
Thanks for acknowledging his growth. I hate that shit when people just call him overrated since he has grown to become more than just a highlight reel.
I used to hate Griffin because earlier on he was just a dunker and way overrated, but as evidenced here as his career's gone on he's really improved on all other assets of his game and become a more complete offensive player. His jumpshot can still use a bit more refinement, but overall he's impressed me.
I agree with you however he still lacks in major categories in this exact order; rebounds, free throws, and defense. Kevin Love averages about 3 more points and 3 more rebounds a game, hits free throws and three pointers.
he always has been a player with refined skill sets since his rookie season. He got strengths, post-up moves etc. That's why I first paid attention to him and was frustrated because the media and everything only focused on his athleticism (to the extent that they made that 'dunking over car' folly).
Clinton Henry not to mention that he also lacks in another major category called "losing", because K Love is losing about 15 more games than Blake Griffin. Whoa.
So Blake Griffin is a better basketball player than Kevin Love? Is that your argument?
Clinton Henry
I don't even see why you started K Love- Blake comparison lol You are the one who first stated Blake Griffin is "lacking" in several categories because K Love is doing better in those areas.
Thank you for putting this together.
He is just a beast! We all knew he could DUNK but this year he really improved his game, he can ball!
Watching these videos has definitely helped out on my NBA 2k14 skills.
So skilled, he's not better than me......yet. But he's getting there.
Boi u trash fkumean
Blake Griffin is underrated.
Those were the days..
His game has improved so much. I want him to help CP3 finally get his 1st ring.
One of the most athletic and fun to watch players in the NBA. No question. I'm a die hard Lakers fan but I gotta give it to Blake and the clippers. They're Killin it this year.
Griffin has to be a 90 on 2k15
92, d wade is like a 90
DWade is a 84 or 85.. Its sad but true
Blake Griffins jump shot has improved so much.
Damn! Blake Griffin's got some sick footwork! The best dunker in the NBA today!
Holy moly he has handles.
Damn! Blake Griffin, approved himself that he's the Griffin: half Lion, half Eagle. Fly like an Eagle, Strong as the Lion.
Favorite player...Clips will do great things
Wow.. I never realized how hard he grinds for his points... Great player!
Blake Griffin is accomplishing the goals necessary in order to become great.
Become good at what you're bad at, great at what you're good at and leave what you're great at the same.
Love to watch him play! ;*)
Great video! Can u do Brandon knight
lol you know how people say all blake griffin does is dunk
this season he's got 135 dunks = 260 points
he's totaled at 1477 total season points
stats from cbssports
actually it would be 270, not 260. but yeah, he's become imo the 5th best behind lebron kd cp3 and melo
270 indeed
Beast!
I laughed everytime when people say BG has bad footwork. A guy can't handle the ball that well and move around that quick, with bad footwork. He just needs to learn more moves, that's it, his footwork is awesome already.
His post game is underrated cos he usually finishes with a strong dunk. Whereas most "skilled" post players finish with a smooth and easy layup. When he dunks, people assume that all he needed was athleticism when in fact he actually uses skills to get an open dunk.
He has all the potential. His post game this year has improved drastically. If he just learns how to read his defender in the post, and what to do during double teams, he could be an amazing player.
I hate the Clippers and Blake Griffin, but he has talent.
this guy is great
I wonder how much fun it is to be blake griffin?
Blake has a great all around game he just needs to polish his post moves and his midrange jumper and 3pt shooting and he can probably be MVP he's the best PF in the league
Where is part deux?? that putback jam he had last week was sick!
best
PF
ever!!!
i am his greatest fan
NO!!! He's Mine!! :) Im kidding though
i am his biggest fan in Cyprus then
***** I AM
Bandwagoners
ive been a fan since he was at Oklahoma me and my dad watched him online in 2007 and hes been my favorite since then Logan Taylor
To everyone who thinks of Blake as just a dunker: look at his post moves. Look at the wide range of players he scores on/through/over/around -- Tyson Chandler, Dwight, KLove, Tim Duncan, Serge, etc. etc. He is, by the numbers, one of the most productive and effective post players in the NBA. Blake will power through most anyone, and, for those stronger than him, he'll spin, bend, contort whichever way to get the shot off. Look at the man and appreciate his game.
easily top 3 PFs in the league
id say best. saying the love is better is invalid because love has absolutely no defense.
ethan stern i agree. to be fair though, blake doesn't have the greatest defense himself. he can do so much more offensively than kevin though.
liukevin6 better than kevin's. honestly blake's defense is underrated too. at the end of the dallas game it was tied, and he got dirk to turnover the ball with his d. he's not great at it (maybe a 6 of 10), but id say love is a 3 of 10.
Blake might not be the best shotblocker but his athletic abilities make him a good on-ball defender
Blake Griffin is most improved player of the year no doubt. His jumpshot has caught many people off guard and his passing ability is suprisingly amazing. Of course we know he is the best dunker in the NBA already.
This is what the next best player in the league is suppose to look like!
Blake seriously got some great handles
Blake has surprisingly good handles!
Blake is a superstar!
That last assist was the pick of the bunch.
one of the the best offensive force unbeatable inside the pain
Blake griffin is starting to become the best of in the league hands down
he's really becoming a guy who the clippers can throw it to on the block to score
Hes one of the rare power forwards who can play center or small forward hes big enough to play center and skilled enough to play sf
So NBA uploads Lebron's "Magical Touch Pass" yet Blake's was much better seeing as it turned into a lob
you missed the behind the back pass/assist from a few weeks back
griffin is a BEAST!
His improvement is impressive, and he is doing better on stats since Chris Paul's injury
Part 2 please
future top 10 PF of all time. idk what rank but he'll be in there
a true MVP
wow idol!!!
He's got some handles bro
I love Blake Griffin
Best front man in the league, can't wait for all star weekend 😁
Top 10 or 15 players. He's been very consistent with his play. Avg 20ppg and 10 rebounds very good.
finally has a post game and a jump shot maybe the 3rd best player in the league now
He's improved a lot this season but the only problem I have with him is his lack of fundamentals in the post. He needs to be more aggressive, whether it is attacking smaller defenders, making his mind up faster, or leaning into his shot more. He's always fading away, even on hooks. He needs to take advantage of his strength and go up with more power.
this is because his arms are so short compared to other nba players who play his position at his height. his post game is slowly but surely growing, but has been rushed because of chris paul's absence where he has taken the leadership role.
I'm a Lakers fan, but I have to admit Blake Griffin is a beast
Al Jefferson video next? thanks
He has pretty good handles
He's so much better than he used to be
I dont kno if anyone noticed but Blake Griffin kinda shoots his jumper when he almost comes back down 2 touch the floor like almost all the time
about the 6:00 minute mark..2nd alley oop on the warriors is one of the most incredible plays i've ever seen
The ridiculous thing was that the 3 alley oops shown there happened on back to back to back posessions.
blake is easily one of the best efficient offensive power forwards all time, this guys is been on a wrecking streak since paul is injured, he has the handles, can rebound, can score inside and outside the paint, but is not a good defender and freethrow shooter if he improves that then he could become the best PF ever, i think that chris paul should feed him more
Don't see how Blake is "Overrated". He's averaging 23.3ppg 9.7rpg 3.5 apt shooting 50+fg% and improved his freethrow shooting to 70%. Basically living up to expectations if not exceeding expectations of a number 1 pick unlike Bennett and Kwame
I bet if he layed it up instead of dunking people would say he is skillfull, but most peaople are stupid and doesnt realize how big his skillset is
He reminds me of Melo a lot now with his pivot and how he uses that "triple threat" position...with a better post game though
Griffin is far better than K love
Can you make highlights for mr. Tony wroten jr.
That boy can jump...
Just looked this up to show my mom he used to be a beast cuz she thinks he’s some normal bench player
do one for Joe Johnson
his jump shot on 2k14 is hard to time to me
can u do Terrence ross please
thx
Do Tyreke Evans. He has unbelievable skills
Coming into this season, I would've rather had Aldridge or Love over Griffin. Now, it seems like a tossup. Great season and improvements from Griffin.
Them handles tho
Damian lilard part 2 please
Is there absolutely no way to stop the lob and jam?
If you have the ability to try and see what clippers PGs see, and predict where and when they will lob, you can maybe intersect or block? But I haven't seen it happen yet. Lob city ftw ~
Spurs to some extent stopped it. limited it and screwed up the system
Daniel Cho yeah that worked out real well for Brandon Knight
Jimmer Fredette highlight?
WHERES THAT INSANE HANDLE MOVE?
i should say inside the paint
For a man his size an can dribble like that wow
In 2-3 years He will be the MVP.
Most dominant paint presence since Shawn Kemp.
Not sayin' he IS Shawn Kemp... But he's the closest thing, since Kemp left Seattle in 1996 - besides, I actually think he's more versatile
JARED SULLINGER OFFENSE HIGHLIGHTS PLEASE!!!!!
Chris Bosh Please
you should get rid of that thing on the bottom left corner
8:20 friendly fire poster
tony parker
demar derozan part 2
He is like a stronger version of Shaw Kemp. Shame that his defense is sub-par compared to his offense.
Do kyle lowry
Arron affalo
