Love your videos! Question, I have a 2023 BMW GSA and just purchased a Akrapovic Titanium slip on. It did not come with any anti sieze paste in the packaging. Do I need this? If I do, what type do you recommend? And how should I apply it? There is nothing about it in the instruction manual.

Ive got the BMW Akro (similar style to yours, but not black) on my 1250 GSA HP. Love the look, but even with baffles in (cant remove them), its much louder when at cruising speed, even with ultimate ears in. So I’d recommend you ride the bike some, before you decide to take the baffles out.
I also hope to get some D4’s from you, at some point, but still removing from Christmas! 😳😉

The Akra sounds best with the baffles out in my view.
The only thing I disliked was the initial low rpm sound on Akra’s. They sound like wheezy/sneezy or something until the rpm builds.
I came close to buying an Akra but ended up fitting a SC Project to my r1250gs a couple of weeks ago after hearing one as the initial sound was crisper in my view.
    Cheers.

I prefer a quieter exhaust. I don’t like to draw any attention to myself as I like to ride over the speed limit quite often. The akropovic with the baffles would be my preference over the OEM without baffles.

OEM is actually better IMO. I test rode to buy a 2015 w/ Akr exhaust and then a 2016 OEM. I preferred the latter. YMMV, but I do wonder about OEM sans baffle...

I’ve always loved akrapovic quality and sound but I just don’t understand how they can charge so much for these exhausts! I’ve got an S1000 XR and the can is nearly £1000 and you can’t even remove the baffle on the Euro4 compliant version! At least it was a nice easy change and moderate weight saving!

Bought a Remus for my 1200, apart from the sound improvement it was a waste of money, on a long trip the noise became an annoyance. I’ve left my 1250 standard...I think the OEM exhaust sounds better than that on the 1200.

Akra is great but has to be repacked every 6000 miles - failure to do this leaves it very noisy and running hot - bike will be pinking like hell on both 95 and 98 octane fuel - had this on a 1200 and now on the 1250 - repacking kit is £50 a pop - 20k miles a year and it soon mounts up! Just about to reinstall original which has metal baffles as opposed to fibreglass packing (hence the weight difference) and is maintenance free!

A waste of money really , I had the same Akro on my 2017 R1200 triple black
Not a lot of difference in the sound and I didn’t find any difference in power , £900 for designer slip on silencer is a bit expensive in my book , when I took it off last year and put the OEM back on as I was changing to a 1250 I thought it ran better
