I disagree on lifting the heavens being his most impressive feat. Even Annabeth was able to hold the heavens and as far as I know she doesn’t have any great strength feats and isn’t physically impressive. It seems like holding the heavens is more about willpower than physical strength. Anyways, great video
@@BigSirSplash Thanks for doing this and by the way I would like to argue that Percy has a feat where he is tanking the Poison of Gorgons. This means instant death to whoever uses it yet Percy did not die from it. Gorgon poison can kill demigods, monsters and children of Gods. The poison killed Phineas the Seer in just seconds while Percy survived for Much longer with the poison even while suffering through at least 12 curses that should have also been fatal. Just that and when is the next Swordsman tournament coming up and will you put Prince of Persia in it somewhere along the line.
To be honest I think that the greatest feat of Percy is just the fact that he is still mentally stable for the most part after everything he has been through.
Percy also has great resistance to magic(obviously the likes of Circe or divine being doesn’t count)... best example? Carter Kane attempted magic when he first met and battled Percy and in his own words, “blue sparks of sorcery popped around him, as if my spell didn’t quite know what to do with him”...and it also shows that the resistance is applied not just inside the Greek mythological sphere but all.
Limited control over the most that he improves on(illusions), ability to see and predict situation through dreams(inconsistent but OP, as Kronos and Luke where amazed and in disbelief that Percy could see events around a being like Kronos through his dreams), and yes it isn’t “fate” or another god showing it to him, it’s a general ability of demigods, but it’s said to be much more powerful in relation to percy
@@demisege8824 I feel like to some extent the Fates did help him out (mostly when he dreamt of the past, as that isn’t supposed to be a part of demigod dreams afaik.) but the majority comes from him being a son of Poseidon, and the chaotic nature of the sea making him predisposed to having more accurate/better demigod dreams. We can see this best in the fact that in the first book, before Percy is claimed (and before he realizes his tie to the ocean) his dreams are vague, a horse and an eagle fighting instead of seeing his father and Zeus duking it out. But later on his dreams become more accurate, not using metaphors in place of people. He seems Kronos and Luke and Atlas as people rather than something that represents them.
What's even crazier is that that's him after he lost the curse of Achilles, When I read the Son of Sobek I figured the curse is what protected him but nope that was just him going full Khorne and sayin "f*ck that magic garbage"
You know we all know he’s the strongest demigod of all time. Come one no other hero fought as much monsters and deities. If they ever stopped bringing the other demigods and trying to ground Percy to their level or near it. We’d see the monster he is. Plus he’s literally Olympus sword. The one that ends all their enemies.
People can talk about how strong Percy is yet we only need one piece of information, he controlled poison and a goddess' tears to strangle her meaning he can theoretically control someone's blood if he did not fear his power and accepted his powers as a whole meaning he could beat nearly anyone who has blood in them but can lose if he is not fast enough if he uses all his powers to their limit without holding back as he always does even though it may subconsciously due to his morales meaning Percy could kill almost anyone he meets by simply controlling the blood and doing things unimaginable to the being. This means Percy can defeat the gods of Olympus as they have ichor which is their blood which contains water. Percy Jackson can beat almost every single person if he is fast enough to control their blood and use his powers to their extent.
I don't think this is possible at least with the gods because first we don't know what the ichor is made of, second all the gods have control over their body so try to use their ichor against them is like asking to die because not only will be useless but you will have to deal with pissed olympian

I think Danco actually got that one right. Percy is physically so far beyond any foe Harry has ever ha to deal with and his haxier spells aren't fast enough to connect (Percy could easily parry or dodge them). And noteably it would take Percy one good hit to take down Harry... so yeah.

I think it's very important to remember that the Percy Jackson universe scales to the feats of power in Mythology. What I'm trying to say is, Percy scales and matches directly with a pre-ascention Heracles in everything except raw might, and even then, that's debatable. In the newest book(Spoilers) Percy has to wrestle with the embodiment of Old Age, a very strong deity in the verse. It is said in the book that the ONLY one who has ever physically beat Old Age in a wrestling match was Heracles, and even then it was a long and hard battle. Keep in mind, Heracles was actually TRAINED in wrestling, or the ancient greek equivalent, while Percy is an amateur, barely knowing any styles or moves besides what his body told him to do from years of combat experience. Even so, he was able to struggle against Old Age for a little while, a feat comparable to THOR- Yes, in the canon of the series, aka canon of mythology, Thor once had a wrestling competition with a being known as the "embodiment of Old Age". While not the exact same being, the two of them embody the exact same concept and they are challenge an opponent in the exact same way, I don't think it is a stretch at all. Anyway- Thor was able to struggle against Old Age for a time, but eventually lost. Granted, this was without his equipment, aka his hammer, his gloves, magic belt, ect, but this is still THE GOD THOR. And while the Gods of different pantheons have different levels of power based on how prevalent they are and how strong their stories say they are, this is the same Thor that "In 3 Gulps, Lowered the Seas by several feet, and created the tides", "In a single swing of his hammer, created a massive rectangular hole that can split mountains in half" and could "pick up the weight of the World Serpent(which encircles the entire realm of Midgard aka earth) which had had its weight magically swapped with a large house cat". Percy may not scale in physical strength to Heracles, the GOD OF STRENGTH, but he DOES scale to FUCKING MYTH-ACCURATE THOR- I don't think I can understate how much Percy Jackson and the Demigods that scale to him dog on a lot of popular stories verses.
