So I'm new to the channel. Quick question; do you just drive around picking metal from people's trash and curbs with no permission? I feel like I'd get arrested if I did that where I live...
It's not only legal, it's protected by the supreme Court ruling California v Greenwood. The homeowner just wants the stuff gone. They aren't ever upset.
@@ScrapPalletMan if its in the trash the owner gave up all rights to it. BUT I have sat out free working items like TVs with signs on them "Free, Works" and the scrap guy would come cut the cord and bust open for copper coils. I nipped that in the bud watching and catching them, Id tell them before they touched it that its a free WORKING item, and not trash, if they cut the cord or bust it open they take the whole thing since our trash guy didnt pick up debris outside the cans or items such as these and I wasnt cleaning up their mess... bit of a difference between trash and free items.
No worries! If it's on the street as trash, it's free for the taking. Years ago, a couple buddies of mine would go out 'Treasure Trashing' as we called it. Usually, this was the night before the trash would be picked up the next day. We would cruise the neighborhoods looking for treasure. Bob went after electronics like radios, TVs, computers, small kitchen appliances like toasters etc. take them home and re-wire them and sell them. Jimmy liked to find old lawnmowers, weed-whackers, hedge trimmers etc. and he would repair them and sell them also. I just went along for the fun of it. Great times and memories.
It is legal to take anything that has been discarded, even the contents of a trash can so be careful what you’re throwing away. You don’t want people seeing stuff with your name or other information on it.
Hi Paul, just watching now as I was setting up my new 50" smart tv my stepson bought for me. I love the bigger picture. Don't worry about the lift gate...it will come in God's perfect time for you. I pray God leads you to piles of scrap and blesses you with abundant copper n brass.🙏
We live in PA and we have scrappers. Most folks are appreciative of the scrappers because the items they scrap will be recycled and reused instead of ending up in a landfill. Also a lot of trash companies won’t take some of the things that he’s scrapping. Then people end up throwing it in the woods and things like that. But I’m sure there are people out there that give scrappers a hard time. To them I say, your trash is someone else’s treasure LOL!

Good Afternoon My Good Big Bro Paul The Scraper & Pallet Man Sir & God Bless You & Renee & All Of You're Whole Family This Afternoon & Evening Coming Up
Got me a nice hunk of scrap today out and about. I think it's an old light pole of some sort. Saving it up for my next scrapyard trip. Love your content as always Mr. Paul
Always a pleasure when Paul has a new video, Amazing work and wonderful finds today. Thank You for the content, have a blessed day Paul great to see you.
Hey boss I enjoyed this clip. Informative as per. It's good to hear a person who's not afraid to pray and display his faith. Electric trucks, as much as I am for it. They're good for local deliveries. Here in Australia, we're codependent on trucks for east-west runs for most goods. It's not uncommon for east west trucks to be doing 8000 kilometres a week. It's counter productive for those trucks to stop every few hours for charging. Sorry for rambling. Out on country roads, those trucks have a quad set up, 53.5 metre maximum length, gross tonnage of around 190 tonnes.
Afternoon Paul, I've got that model of Stanley shop vac. Bought it in 2017 and still works great. If the one you found works, you can call Stanley customer service to find out where to order a hose and attachments.
You are awsome also. Finding the good stuff on the curb and in some dumpsters. Thank you for the fun ride picking up scrap with you. Bless you always. Sr. Mary Luke.👍🏼👏🏼🙌🏼🤴🏼🐕
I will have to email you pics of our "attack gooses" at community general osteopathic in Harrisburg. It attacked employees, guests. The male was a protective problem. They nested by the main entrance. The fish and game commission had to remove them. Also, companies can write off the food as a donation. No pet food should go to waste.
objects reach a pivot point of balance when you reach the halfway of weight or shape . now if you put your scrap on tailgate 'edge' upto their tilting you are ssentially done lifting , just hold til it tips then slide as it freefalls to more weight on truck tailgate . gee a long suggestion .ha.
The charging station thing is pretty cool! There is no reason why green energy & gas/oil can’t coexist! Gosh the farmers used wind power with windmills to pump water& used river water to run grind wheat the gristmill ! Green energy really isn’t new
Exactly - smart thing is to have both. Each can act up as a back-up for the other. Electricity may fail, and both will only increase in cost, so leveraging against each other may save a fair bit overall.
No toxic metals involced in grist mills or windmills. If they break, you don't have to destroy land to mine more elements and then throw away crap that poisions the soil. Poor comparisons to say the least.
@@dimtucas359 Well, it's the whole side of manufacturing a vehicle to replace one that may already be relatively efficient in energy terms, especially if the power generation is coal/oil/gas fired. I sort of 'inherited' an older, smaller car from a relative when mine needed replacement, but I find it an excellent 'shopping basket', which is its primary use. A couple of years ago it needed some rust repairs that were quite a lot more than the actual worth of the vehicle but looking at a (new, used buys other people's problems and I knew the history of this car) replacement, it just didn't make sense for the very low mileage it does - maybe 2500 to 3000 kms (1500-2000 mls) a year, with 5 or 6 fills a year as it already got 35-40 mpg in town and over 60 on the few times it was on the motorway. With the capital expenditure and especially increased insurance, it would have a negative payback with me spending several thousand a year more over it's service life. Hybrid/electric options were a lot worse, with the added displeasure of them all being some form of automatic, which I LOATHE!

A lot of cast in a piano, very little brass. I have taken a few pianos apart, real fun work, took hours but was the only way I could move them by my self. Used a saw-zall to cut up the wood, and a grinder cut the cast to small bits so could I lift and move. Just did one last year to get it out my house. Burned the wood, the cast is still on my back porch. It will go to a scrapper next month. I got new stove coming then, and give old stove and all the cast to a scrapper to haul off then.

great video God bless my brother
A lot of cast in a piano, very little brass. I have taken a few pianos apart, real fun work, took hours but was the only way I could move them by my self. Used a saw-zall to cut up the wood, and a grinder cut the cast to small bits so could I lift and move. Just did one last year to get it out my house. Burned the wood, the cast is still on my back porch. It will go to a scrapper next month. I got new stove coming then, and give old stove and all the cast to a scrapper to haul off then.
Thanks for sharing your prayers on here god will bless you and supply all your needs
