Honestly that first match shows why people hate priest, that many soul mirrors are way too much
Making legendary spells non-discoverable would be a reasonable change too

@@icikle because it’s a legendary spell that gives removal AND value and they get 4 of them in a game. Everyone is going to complain about everything, it’s hearthstone. What surprises me is you’re getting this upset and defensive, especially about priest. If you do this everytime someone complains about priest you’d have an unpaid full time job
I have the impression that double quest with Hack the System in wild could be interesting too see. You can always attack with your hero thanks to the Juggernaut so you can consistently complete and make use of it's reward.

Stealer of souls shouldve been removed a long time ago. Wild broke it immediately and that shouldve been a clue that its a poor design. It's either completely worthless cause the downside is way too high, or completely broken cause you can cheat infinite mana if you can get around the downside. Unfun, terrible card design
When a rare card is stronger than 90% of legendary cards in all of Hearthstone
Side expansion will add like 3 good pirates and it'll make this hella rng. With like a 12 mana 8/8 (Rush) costs 1 less for each pirate that has died or played depending on juggernaut being too op with died this game. Give pirate warrior that old tree ent druid card mulchmuncher i think!
Having played Quest control warrior at diamond for a bit , it does struggle against quest mage and quest lock. Besides that it’s a fun deck :)
That first game, you drew rattle and I was like pls dont play it vs priest... The priest made some very questionable plays, almost as questionable as playing priest on ladder at the moment ; p
Aggro quest lock warr was working well for me, went straight to diamond 10 with ease. losses hard to quest lock tho, I’m like 2-8 vs quest lock

Suggestion for buffing warrior quest: Discover a pirate and a weapon? Or just one of those?
Summon 3 pirates. They destroy your opponent.
For the rest of the game, your pirates have rush.
give it some armor gain tbh, as is it is rng based, just give it more rng chances rather then making it about 3 times as likely to be good

As I started with Quest Warrior, I originally built it very heavy and slow. But over time, I gradually started cutting more and more of the big stuff in favor of a lower curve which could reliably finish quest on 8 and play Rokara same turn. That said though, Juggernaut + Rattlegore does outvalue slower Quest Locks, especially if they let you amass a lot of armor and you pull Bulwarks off Juggernaut.

Hey, Regis! I've been playing this to great success! I have a Mo'arg Archfiend + Nzoth in mine as a little extra wincon in case of emergency.- a brawl and couple things you have. Crazy armor gain.
- the Shieldmaiden's and Bulwark as well. With Blade storm, another Outrider's axe and Coerce in.
The warrior quest needs to be branned cause otherwise it sucks. Or Zola. Also it needs more pirates. 3 armor at the end of the turn does not make them a control archetype. You can probably mix a few rush package cards but I do think it's actually only good in a midrange wild warrior deck. And ancharr is a must probably

Maybe the reason you get so many more viewers is that you have a lot of people that watch you, but not every stream (or people coming over from youtube) and its just that the expansion gets everyone to tune in at the same time, like it's not that people aren't sticking around, just aren't all in the same place at the same time normally
As much as I love the idea the amount of low attack utility weapons make this underwhelming :(

Maybe a N'Zoth version of control quest warrior would give enough value. You can throw out shield maiden and either shield slam or shiver my timbers. And also throw out stage dive. This would give enough room to get a N'Zoth package in their.

Also I think there's a moral victory for that first game being so close after getting Rattlegore effectively stolen

I use Brann to double Rokara ships, and use Iron Juggernaut to put a mine (or two) in their deck.
This deck seems performing reliable enough for competitive ladder. Not too difficult and yet quite fun deck actually.

Played this deck with the 2 of the 2 mana bear that returns a minion to your hand, easy 3 juggernauts with 12 damage from cannons a turn. Give it a go its really fun!

I love the irony in rogue having on average the more damaging weapons than warrior (the me go face guy). Also for a questline the reward is far too inconsistant, discovering the pirate and weapon would help reduce the rng.
hey regis the quest is really good in wild atm any more buffs would definetly push it over the line i understand that in standard it is under performing and im not sure what blizzard cares more about but it feels nice to play in wild where there are more options like ancharrr

I think the biggest weakness of this deck (Besides the real lack of pirates) is the quest rewards being too weak. Drawing a weapon would be nice but it doesn't help you, if we still had anchor then sure but with what we have it isn't enough. It is sort of the opposite of demon hunter.
This might sound stupid but what if the quest summoned a cannon (deals damage when pirates come out) instead of the two shots? I'm trying to think of a way as of the moment since I want this to work. I just don't want the way the fix it be reduce part one of the quest.
27:49 i have that every game against warlock when they spam 20 cards in a turn and the animations take longer than their turn... my rope just starts ticking instantly, actually lost a few games to not having a full turn

This Quest is one of the worst sights in Wild. it eats every Class. And in Duels with "Double Battlecry" a true horror to face against.
Quest warrior is kinda a sleeper imo, the spotlight is on warlock atm but I'm pretty sure it's gonna get nerfed and then jack sparrow warrior will take off

I fought againts some weird quest warrior, he had 70 armor in the end
Totally slept on the Brawl and took 10 unnecessary damage.
What if the devs made that you can’t discover legendary spells. No more a million soul mirrors.

The lack of many highroll weapons is why a card like The Juggernaut can exist in standard. If Juggernaut was hitting you for 4-5 every turn on average, that would be WAY too fast, and a 0 mana slam the face for 1-2 every turn still adds up, especially when giving incremental value.
its pretty weak compared to these OTK decks ending games on turn 5-7 now.

Are quest decks so high up in the meta because they are actually really good (HSReplay reports almost all of them above 50%, except DH and priest as of this writing), or because they are new and exciting and fun so they’re getting played a ton?
Like, the UiS meta is only 4 days old, is it bound to shift when players get tired of completing quest lines?
sorta. meta will take more of perm shape in a few weeks id say. BUT: unless they do some nerfs, these quests that can do these otks by like turn 5. are insanely powerful. these are some of the strongest cards ever printed in the game.. nerfs are coming i think.

This game is a perfect example of why i started hating the game more and more with every expansion. You can be on the backfoot the entire game, technically still able to win but you just have to look at the rng working out for your opponent again and again while youre struggling to even get one good roll.
I get its rng, but if your game is so rng heavy it feels like thats not a good excuse anymore.
This quest is kinda bad considering the meta for the other quests. Minions help the others
Not if you play it in a more aggro focused deck. You can out race the other quests.
It's a lot better in a tempo deck.
I'm not saying it's bad. Just hunter, warlock, paladin sometimes, and others use the enemy minions. Which this quest must have

If you go more aggro, you just remove this quest and do regular pirate Warrior.
@@liveanotheranime3526 were talking about standard right? Because it definitely feels worth. It can close games out and makes the deck less all in then normal pirate warrior with the insane value and chip damage it does. Without the quest they’re just shitty aggro shaman.
Again, that's my main problem with HS. Legendaries aren't legendary. NO discover or ress effects should allow you to get moret than ONE throughout the entire game. IMO discover effects should only be Common and Rare cards.

The reward should have just been a consistent “Start of your turn: Summon a 4/2 Pirate with Rush, Equip a 4/1 Scimitar, and fire two cannons that deal 2 damage!”
i think rather than "add a weapon to your hand" it should be Choose one: add this random weapon or keep your current weapon
