Hi Laura, so nice to see you enjoying yourself doing something uniquely different. I remember quite well my first experience skiing. It was so scary at first, any little gradient felt like you were about to crash. Gradually I gained more confidence and then became more brave to try different runs. I enjoyed my time together with friends. Great vlog this trip. Loved it. Keep expanding your horizons by challenging yourself. Take Care and God Bess 👼🙏⛷
My 1st experience in the snow was at Perisher Australias biggest ski resort. I did my free learners lesson and it was fine. Just like ice skating which Im good at. So I went straight to the very top with some guys who could ski well. So I follow them but did fall twice at the start and lost sight of them. So I thought they went left so I went that way and had to do a bit of cross country skiing 😂 so by then I'm in doing ok on the skis. So I came across a run and skiers so I follow them down and couldn't find any of my group. So went back up on the lift and still couldn't find anyone. So I decided I'll stick to this place I was at. After a few runs a guy asked to look at my ticket. Once he saw it he said I can't go up as I'm at Bluecow. He asked if I knew this and said no. He got in his radio and found out that the whole ski patrol were out looking for me in Perisher 😂 here I was having a great time here. So we went up the lifts and the guy took me over to Perisher and lead me down a bit and then told me where to go to get to the bottom. So off I went and skied all the way down no worries. My best friend's saw me cruising on down and ran over as they had been worried I had an accident or something happened to me. I told them what happened and I was having great time at totally different resort. 😂
