It's so wonderful to see this video, but 2 things worry me, how powerful will my computer need to be, and how do I get all of that out of Lumion? You guys at Lumion should give courses to teach users how to get the most out of the program!

The Raytracing DOESN’T support glass and water hahah. It is a total bs from Lumion why the hell did you implement raytracing without the support of glass and water?

@@eviltlaloc all they did is just changing the UI and add sh** assets. I literally just contact them to remove my whole company enterprise licenses. I’m not going to support a software/company who literally making fun of its users. If they’re in the US, they will be very much screwed over their ploys.

Do it in blender then import the camera path. New custom camera path import feature. Fine detailing can be done in other softwares. It's pretty solid.

There are some things that everyone must know. Firstly, the ray tracing function only supports up to 1080P, and furthermore, the ray tracing function for glass and water has not been implemented.
That's right. They are still working on those, but there are some work around for now to get a decent looking glass. You can find it on the release notes, but I'll also share it on my video tomorrow.
We are getting ripped with their unjustifiable prices. No regular updates, they don’t even keep their promises and listen to their users. What is the reason of implementing the raytracing without considering its support to glass and water? We waited 1.5 year for this and all we get now a f***ing redesigned UI? It’s a total bs.

Lumion devs had to a ton of extra work to keep both workflows functioning for this implementation. Water and glass will come soon and it will only get better from there.

RT in combination with exteriors, the translucency function doesn't work, resulting in unrealistic foliage.
it's written on the website though, that the nature assets have not yet been converted to the RT workflow - I hope the next update will fix this problem :)

Please share your roadmap with us! In the description you state that the wait is finally over, but at the same time your RT does not support vegetation, glass and water. I do not want to let go of Lumion, but right now the competition looks better for less than half of the price. Please convince me to stay.

Some really great new changes in this last version but, By the way I think they have to implement PAL= Pre-Animated Lights animation in the section lights and effects, for example : (Podiums lights, road street lights, Music stage lights, sound level effects lights and more ) so, you don't really need to setup(animate) them before, in an other third programs such as Cin4D or 3DSMax to reput them back in lumion scene after.
So you can see what the building looks like before it's built in years to come

While there is a lot of good improvements in this new version, I am personally very disappointed that ray tracing is not real time. Also, still no CTRL + Z? I guess I expected a bit more from the update.

Even if you were to lower the price to, let's say, €500 per year, it would still be considered expensive. However, asking for €1500 is simply unrealistic.
Yes, 2023 is the end point on Lumion. Our company will no longer use it for projects. Let's look for something else. This update is a nightmare. I have never seen so much low-quality content for such money. Good luck, of course, but now without us !!!))))

That's great, Lumion! Amazing Lumion! Wonderful Lumion! For the CG environment of Lumion, we do not envy the background graphics extracted with the AI Stable Diffusion WebUI.
In this video, we are no longer envious of the Unreal Engine because the video is very realistic whether a high-end technician who is good at rendering used Lumion.
Now all Lumion has to do is support Vertex, Morph, Skin or Bone animations. If that happens, Lumion becomes a perfect CG program in itself that makes everything possible.
Worship the Lumions! Now I don't even need the Unreal Engine!
I think Twinmotion's Path Traycer will be better.

a nasa emprestou o supercomputador deles para eles fazerem esse render, vc pode ter o pc de 40 mil reais que não vai conseguir chegar nesse nível sem muito esforço, o render é extremamente cansativo e lento, se for renderizar em 4k seu filho recem nascido vai pra faculdade e o negocio tá renderizando ainda

For God's Sake Livesync for 3dsMax
Vegetation needs to improve alot, more desert, Mediterranean, south Asian, plants with decent realistic looking plants needed. Make Lumion software lightweight. There re some render engines with better raytraced lights for interiors and realistic furniture and vegetation assets, I'm still using Lumion is coz of its user friendliness. Its heavy on the PC and interior renderings are sub standard. The time has come to switch the render engine if you fail in these in this version.
New lumion, like the old lumion, but now, it will cost you more 🤣

One of major failure of this software need to avoid in build is,
Lets say current curraption while walkthrough rendering is in progress, it can not auto save rendered part of elapsed time... i some time worry about that..
