To speculate a bit; Kris and Susie's "Fall" into the dark world could be a result of the Dark World's space distortion; Obviously, some level of distortion is happening for the dark worlds, as a small room is turned into a sprawling kingdom. Maybe they're "Shrinking" and so are 'falling' down to where the new floor is?

Always love to see these come out! Learned a lot about the depths that I may have overlooked previously. This is evidenced by both the PuppetScarf and Dealmaker being tailor made for Ralsei, in a similar way that Susie and Jevil are connected through the DevilsKnife. Kris is important when it comes to Spamton, but I would say that his writing is likely most connected to Ralsei’s plight. Mechanically, there is one character focused on with both secret bosses. To me, Kris has a lot to do with feeling connected with spamton and their journey to awakening him tells that story. But in a similar way to how we don’t know exactly why Susie and Jevil are paired mechanically, it’s the same with Ralsei and Spamton. Something to mention is Ralsei’s immediate covering up of a greater meaning behind Spamton’s actions. He is quick to point these connections out when it comes to the prophecy, but not when Spamton says some very telling things about the nature of these dark worlds? 12:17 i think thats a good point. Toby fox likes to reuse ideas or even leitmotifs in other content he creates if they're interesting enough, and the idea of "a character losing their grip on reality from saving too much" is an idea that is also expressed once or twice in undertale (at least, i think thats what asriel is reffereing to when he says that your grip on the world disseapears the more you save). So i dont think its that far fetched to use his other content for ideas for theories
Awesome video!! Really been loving your deltarune deep dives! You lay out information is such a clear and concise way, and the art is too cute! I would really love a video which covers everything about Deltarune’s theme of “Your choices don’t matter”; all bits of evidence supporting it, going against it, and what it may be leading to!
I've realized a presumption I'm making, that others might not be. I believe the dark fountain that you find in the dark world, is the hole in the ground created by the knife used to form the dark world. The fountain is the depths roaring into the light world, giving the dark world substance. Entering the Dark Fountain takes you to the depths.. This is the experiment that Gaster falls into and talks about in Entry Seventeen
Your drawings are so cute! Not sure how serious the corkboard is meant to be, but it'd be cute to add sticky notes to the bottoms with all the previous theory basic topics! And it's be a good way to reuse the amazing topic introduction drawings!
I mean it's not the case, but if Toby had an impact on Scarlet and Violet, something small, like a line of dialogue from an NPC, and made it a hint towards something in Deltarune (not specifically something extremely important because hiding a huge lore reveal in that line would be weird), that would be so cool, wouldn't it ?
I loved this video great job, for the assignment I would like you to touch on the connections between Kris and demons (which kinda connects him to Gaster with the whole 666 thing)
susie should be added to the board only because kris and ralsei are on there and they need their friend :3 also susie raised by human community theory-
I think the Skies Forever Blue video could have actual ties to deltarune in a literal sense. I think the community’s hesitation is warranted, but the ribbons and her falling into darkness and her appearing at the bottom of the newsletter point to their being something intentional there. If I have brain rot and I’m wrong though, it’s still a great song and music video. And awesome video this series is super great! I really love that there’s a series like this now, that compiles the fundamentals of deltarune theory crafting more broadly. Can’t wait to see the last few episodes.
Something kinda weird: Hells roar bubbles from the depths. Depths already talked about. Hell. Commonly used as the home of Satan. Satans commonly associated with 666 And, hm.. I wonder who else is! Maybe, Gaster? Stats are all 666? Weird, right?
I’d love to see your summaries of some of the big predictions, stuff like chess theory or the time loop theory. I love deep analysis videos, but the way you summarise stuff is so good that I’d love to see your take on them
this is such an awesome idea! even as someone who feels like they have a clear understanding of most theories, this is such a good resource! everything is so clear and concise! keep it up!
people love tying skies forever blue into deltarune, but it's hardly tobyfox's only musical collaboration with itoki hana. if we cant justify dragging in the greatest living show i dont think sfb is involved lol
Well in greatest living show we see Mr. Fox continuing to explore the theme of a character being controlled by another force and that damaging them, as well as a theme of longing to be something that they aren’t :) I do hope it comes across tho in the video that I don’t think SFB is related to deltarune, just that taking inspiration from it for theories wasn’t bad
@@browniefox7218 oh absolutely. I just think sfb gets that treatment so much because it’s “cuter looking” despite the actual content being about as conceptually horrifying
While I'm personally really not a fan of them. I guess it would make sense if you did an episode/theory lesson on Deltarune Undertale connections. Important here is: 1. What's up with Papyrus in Deltarune? 2. Alternate universe stuff with Sans and his space time machine thingy in Undertale. 3. Spamton Neo is based on Mettaton, this could serve as a trend for more characters. 4. The importance of Asriel. 5. The Dreemurrs in general. We know a lot about Asgore and Toriel from Undertale, and they seem to be plot important in Deltarune. What can we learn from this? 6. A general "what can we learn from their Undertale counter parts". Section. And keep in mind. I'm saying this as someone who really isn't a fan of needlessly connecting Undertale and Deltarune to the point where I am a proponent of theories that involve Deltarune being fundamentally different at metaphysical levels. But I just can't deny how important these connections are to theorizing. Edit: Looking back I realized you already covered some of these. My bad. But maybe some of these points can be an inspiration.
maybe you could add an image about shadow crystals as it is connected to secret bosses and gaster, along with music notes for the freedom/gaster motif.
HOMEWORK: I think you should teach about MIKE and how they're connected to CH 3 and Spamton SUGGESTION: you should probably make the board a bit bigger or the strings and points a but smaller, also maybe color code the strings so they are easier to see what they are connected to once more are added!
Regarding using other stuff that Toby has worked on, I think I have a strange connection to whatever Toby worked on before Undertale. I'm gonna try to limit the context, because it's freaking Homestuck. The three characters I'm gonna talk about are member of an alien species called "Trolls". Some members of trollking have magical abilities, and two of the three have one. The three characters are Vriska (who is able to mind-control trolls, and to an extent, their abilities), Tavros (who also has mind-control, however it only works on animals), and Terezi (who has no abilities). Unlike humanity, where kids are raised by parents, trolls are raised by animals. Terezi has a special connection to hers, a un-hatched dragon egg, that has the ability to send her suggestions. Finally, the trolls's planet is really close to their sun, making being outside during the day dangerous. With all that context, one specific scene seems to be, in some way, similar to the Snowgrave Route (more accurately would be the Berdly fight). In Homestuck, Vriska, due to wanting revenge on Terezi, decides to mind-control Tavros, forcing him to use his animal mind-control on the dragon-parent of Terezi, to send Terezi a suggestion to go outside and look at the sun. And as Terezi was sleeping, she acted on that suggestion, ending with her being permanently blind. In summary, a character (Vriska) uses another character (Tavros) to permanently damage someone else (Terezi). Meanwhile, in Snowgrave, a character (Kris/the Player) uses another character (Noelle) to permanently damage someone else (Berdly). There are differences. In Homestuck, the goal was to get revenge on Terezi. In Deltarune, while the goal isn't really made clear, it could be argued that it is to have someone else under control, and Berdly was just there at the wrong place, at the wrong time. Another difference I can think of is that you could argue there's one more layer if the Player is the one doing it (HS : Vriska->Tavros->Terezi. DR : Player->Kris->Noelle->Berdly), though there is Noelle's line that the voice is unlike Kris's.
If we are going all out into these theories i suggest you may want to add friend inside me and cabbage theory to the corkboard. Cabbage theory mostly because i keep seeing people talking about it and i have no clue what it is
There actually both kinds joke theorys Friend inside me is literally woddy form toy story will be the chapter 3 secret boss Cabbage theory...is just as nonesensecal, it's essentially a theory parodying silly out there chapter 3 secret bosses theorys
I just want to get this off my chest but deltearune was based on a feaver dream and the deltearune salt route was a feaver dream so someone had a feaver dream about someone's feaver dream.
I've comment this before (but I think I made the comment way too long) But I think the Patients Soul might be important because of how weird it is. And because of it's weird connection to the "Determination" Soul. (I also think the boy & the girl in the music video fit Patients & Bravery more than Dess & Asriel, but that could just be me)
Shouldn't Noelle have a red string to the egg? She Got an egg in a game she got that she can't remember the name of and it left home due to happiness. She also described it as just making a weird sound just like the eggs do in our inventory when we interact with them. A lot of people confuse this for being a pipis but it shouldn't make sense for her to forget the name of it, and to describe it in the exact same way the eggs we get from the "Man" act.
This is making me worry there is some how a dark world similarity if not “the depths” equivalent acting as a intermediary between what is intended of that world and reaching the unintended zone of “out of bounds” like content that gaster and all the goners sort of seem to relate/ be a part of. It would literally just be as simple as just the confirmation of some key things toby would likely avoid till he wants to show things off. It is worrying because key things like: 1 overworld battles UI in deltarune 2 other human’s and how their “free will” is compared to our’s. 3 sans and papyrus (i dont need to say anything because there can be too many things with these two walking sets of bones) 4 magic and or more magic based beings in deltarune like the owner of a certain shop san’s own’s (because fire being’s are magic based) 5 the difference of monsters types between both undertale and deltarune and why in one they can be walking sanitizer stations and not in the other being more actual organic creature like. 6 the difference between human’s in undertale to deltarune because clearly we are either missing something or there is something a miss. (Related to secret lore of frisk’s bandaid being revealed by toby to be a bandage in the Japanese translation directly implying they had recently left a hospital. Being the most of any hinting of personality besides that final choice of choosing to stay with toriel or not purely based on how the human words that option without us knowing anything about it. While both games are separate stories it is scary to think seeds have been sown to exist for niche things to correlate and link the two. If, when or not we see gaster it could literally shatter everyone’s minds just because he can like references frisk and boom suddenly years of theory crafting obliterated because we believe toby. Even more terrifying we so far have every reason to believe what toby says. They are “different stories” but i don’t remember toby ever saying they aren’t the same universe or a connected one.
1) I'm guessing that Deltarune Gaster has been living within the Bunker (or has a way to always get in/out without the main entrance) and is his main hub and where he has the device that has been allowing us to control Kris. Maybe he os trying to help Undertale Gaster, but still 100% its going to be a location we are going to be in a future chapter. 2) If this whole narrative is driving to a Heaven vs Hell scenario, which explains why we are "Recruiting" Darkners from other Dark Worlds. Where we are preparing to wage a war against HEAVEN (I.e Angel's Heaven) a fight against The Angel which was foretold in the Prophecy in the beginning of the game. Whether that is a good or bad thing is up in the air as of now. 🤔
Not a theory but i can't wait to see how far Toby takes the idea of the Player/=Kris, and what later ramifications that will have on the story in coming chapters.

Why does youtube refuse to show me ur videos im glad i saw this
Awesome video!!
EVERYONE,class is now in session under the wonderful Brownie ''Cinnamon Roll' Fox!
Sit down, eat your breffmints and pay attetion!
That would be awesome
@@browniefox7218 Agreed.
Something kinda weird:
Hells roar bubbles from the depths.
Depths already talked about.
Hell.
Commonly used as the home of Satan.
Satans commonly associated with 666
And, hm.. I wonder who else is!
Maybe, Gaster? Stats are all 666? Weird, right?
We should get a partially off screen paper for skies forever blue taped to the wall.
Anyone else notice Starlo behind Brownie?
UT Yellow fan confirmed???
(It's a good fangame, the love is deserved)
I’d love to see your summaries of some of the big predictions, stuff like chess theory or the time loop theory. I love deep analysis videos, but the way you summarise stuff is so good that I’d love to see your take on them
Cant wait to graduate from deltarune lore school
this is such an awesome idea! even as someone who feels like they have a clear understanding of most theories, this is such a good resource! everything is so clear and concise! keep it up!
people love tying skies forever blue into deltarune, but it's hardly tobyfox's only musical collaboration with itoki hana. if we cant justify dragging in the greatest living show i dont think sfb is involved lol
Guys I think the true ending of deltarune is secretly hinted to in rock opera musical “the baby is you”
(Also based BLG enjoyer)
I would have never seen this as part of the basics but it is enjoyable nonetheless.
While I'm personally really not a fan of them. I guess it would make sense if you did an episode/theory lesson on Deltarune Undertale connections.
Important here is:
I'd love to see a video on how deltarune refers to 'Kris' and 'You'!
Thank you for the lovely video!
Flow. The demon who appears when you post a video
The art of your sona tugging on her ears is so cute
The oblivion theory
maybe you could add an image about shadow crystals as it is connected to secret bosses and gaster, along with music notes for the freedom/gaster motif.
Shouldnt noelle be connected to spamton? (in 0:50 while watching the video)
edit: Shouldnt kris and dess should be connected too?
Love your avatar art, super adorable. I think you've gotten better at your delivery too, since your earlier videos.
Thanks! I feel like I’ve improved a lot, but defo still have a lot to improve on :3 and I’m so glad people like my little sona :)
I'm glad I found your channel
HOMEWORK:
I think you should teach about MIKE and how they're connected to CH 3 and Spamton
SUGGESTION:
you should probably make the board a bit bigger or the strings and points a but smaller, also maybe color code the strings so they are easier to see what they are connected to once more are added!
We need friend inside me on the board
I would love a lecture on chapter 3.
I’ve seen your confidence grow as your videos go along! it’s nice to watch you grow as a channel 👏🏽
awesome video brownie :) i love this series and all your dr videos! i always get so excited when i see you came out with something new hehe
What if Gaster is Asriel’s college professor, and the Dark Worlds are happening because they’re cooking meth in the bunker?
If we are going all out into these theories i suggest you may want to add friend inside me and cabbage theory to the corkboard. Cabbage theory mostly because i keep seeing people talking about it and i have no clue what it is
There actually both kinds joke theorys
Friend inside me is literally woddy form toy story will be the chapter 3 secret boss
Cabbage theory...is just as nonesensecal, it's essentially a theory parodying silly out there chapter 3 secret bosses theorys
@@connorschultz380Woody theory honestly makes sense.
@@connorschultz380 i believe in Friend Inside Me more than my firstborn child
May we add some sand undertale to the board
I aint a time traveler but if i was i would still watch it
Can you add Papyrus with a sword and Kris with a knife to the corkboard.
I just want to get this off my chest but deltearune was based on a feaver dream and the deltearune salt route was a feaver dream so someone had a feaver dream about someone's feaver dream.
This is like rewatching deltarune lol
12:16 - These are my thoughts exactly!! :D
What about the shadow crystals and fusing items?
It would be cool if you put a projector screen when you have a video on the board
Yes! I’ll be adding the spamton-sweepstakes strings when I cover it :)
Get my guy Heats Flamesman on the board!
What im wondering is, if the goner code is someone trapped in the depths, what IS that scratching they hear?
I hope the depths is sea themed. Do you know how sick a KRAKEN mode of ALGAE would be as a chapter boss??
I think it would be fun to have someone explain what the scratch theory is to non homestuck fans
It is worrying because key things like:
1 overworld battles UI in deltarune
2 other human’s and how their “free will” is compared to our’s.
3 sans and papyrus (i dont need to say anything because there can be too many things with these two walking sets of bones)
4 magic and or more magic based beings in deltarune like the owner of a certain shop san’s own’s (because fire being’s are magic based)
5 the difference of monsters types between both undertale and deltarune and why in one they can be walking sanitizer stations and not in the other being more actual organic creature like.
My request? As much Sans as possible.
Brownie, shouldn't there be a red string connecting Noelle n spamtom? Because of there interaction with the egg he gave her
Yes! I’ll probably add that one tho once I get to the spamton sweepstakes video tho
@@browniefox7218 awesome glad I was able to help
we need more Roulxs
Slowed down 50%? I heard a lot of people say it's slowed down by 666%? Or smth like that?
it's slowed down to 15%. which means to get it back to play it the original speed, you play it at 666% speed; since 6.66 * 0.15 = 0.999
@@jfb- oh I see!
Not a theory but i can't wait to see how far Toby takes the idea of the Player/=Kris, and what later ramifications that will have on the story in coming chapters.
It's still not out.
