This game is a love letter to the forgotten Silent Hill community. I bet next year we will have Xbox release with DLC scenarios plus Silent Hill 1 announcement.
In some location you can also see butterflies in frames on the wall. This is the reference to Alessa's collection in Silent Hill 1 - there were butterflies in frames on the wall of her room
19:55 I think the aim might actually be the result of the cold, and James' hands shaking from it. I had the rifle out for this bossfight and I was unloading it straight up Parkinson's style.
Another detail: Toward the beginning of the game, the phone across the street from the bookstore & laundromat that rings in the Otherworld is emitting a busy signal.
I think my favorite parts aren't even the easter eggs, its the level of detail in the environment - I remember noticing handprints on one of the old TV sets in the apartments that you could only see if you shone your light on it at an angle. Just a random and extremely intricate detail that goes unnoticed but was deliberately put there anyway.
@@linaskura An den Spiel merkt man halt echt hart das die Polnischen Bloober Entwickler das originale gezockt haben und wirklich viel mühe und Liebe in Detail reingesteckt haben. :D
This kind of puts in perspective that Resident Evil 3 was 100% a cash grab. Capcom, one of the biggest gaming companies, outplayed by indie team Bloober. Love to see it 🤌🤌🤌
29:04 Creepy fact: This whisper was not in the script of the OG Silent Hill 2. It was VA of James, Guy Chihi's acting practice he did randomy before the actual voice record but the devs accidentally recorded it too. When they heard it they just added it to the game.
So a long time ago i went to an abandoned hospital called Yorktown memorial hospital in texas. The exterior (and even some of the interior) looks very similar to brookhaven hospital. Google Yorktown memorial hospital. Pretty sure there was an episode of ghost adventures filmed there.
Two other details I thought were cool: There is a movie poster at the theatre that's a reference to the short story "An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge"! You can also find the painting "Isle of the Dead" at the hospital in the directors office!
Please can you check In Toluca prison cell number F15 There’s 2 round symbol in the walls it’s the same symbol in the walls of SH4 (room of angels) and there’s a whisper in the cell !! I think it’s Walter Sullivan cell and it’s his voice saying “ritual” or I don’t know .. Can you please confirm what is it? I’ve been trying to search for someone talking about it! But there’s no one mentioned that cell and what is the voice in it and what’s is saying! They gave too many hints of Walter Sullivan first the newspaper then the cell with the symbol and then a grave yard with his name! I think they planning to do more remakes especially SH4 because they gave too many hints of Walter Sullivan !
When James held his hand after killing Eddie I thought he shot Mary when he killed her. Didn't realize it was by suffocation by covering her mouth and nose
Some of these are so obvious you can't even call them easter eggs. You didn't even mention the pictures of Bloober Team and Team Silent hidden in the historical society. Or comment on the carpet design in the Lakeview Hotel riddled with eyes staring back at James.

XBox with release would show how history repeats itself, as Born From A Wish was added content for the original SH2's Xbox and PC release.
@hippyhobo6285 Yes. But this time I bet there will be more DLCs.
A letter?... We got a letter
@@maximomox1807 did i spell it wrong?
@@akaunderdog4223 no don't worry! It's supposed to be a funny thing. Remember that James got a letter too
27:40 - I love the fact that the remake plays into the time loop theory more and more with these nods to deja vu moments both for James and Maria.
In some location you can also see butterflies in frames on the wall. This is the reference to Alessa's collection in Silent Hill 1 - there were butterflies in frames on the wall of her room
"No, james, im not, not at all."😡 "I-Im sorry"😔 "I know"💅 7:09
Women lolo
Hahaha

31:43 you can also hear her gasp when you leave the room in the hospital after the scene with Maria not feeling well and her deciding to lay down.
Another detail: Toward the beginning of the game, the phone across the street from the bookstore & laundromat that rings in the Otherworld is emitting a busy signal.
Same thing happened in SH4 (room of angels) at the beginning of the game
The Comic Sans sign from the HD Collection being hidden in the barn is genius!
love how the nurses walk in and theyre like oh nope nevermind sorry for intruding ill just show myself out-
These levels of details is insane and unprecedented in the history of survival horror games or even video games in general!
the one easter egg with mary's last breath is so damn sad

And yet people exist and say the game is loveless and a cashgrab..
good video and thx for finding all these things.
It is also kind of sad how many streamers and UA-camrs will miss/ not notice all these subtle things...

Makes me wonder if he thought he was eating unmelted ice-cream with his hands. 😅
Also when Maria says she’s used to you smashing stuff up, she doesn’t comment or get startled by smashing windows anymore
IDK if i missed it, but James' hand stays black for a while after you touch that gate at the start
Its even visble on the map
Not only writing on the letter disappears, but later letter itself too and even envelope.
fun fact: You can see the lady in the window, but once you get to the room she was in... it's just a lamp and some other objects lol
Thank you for your work!

I thought it was from a sound font or something

Yes the look almost the same!!

0:45 Oh thats GOOD lol
29:05 The whispers are more creepy when there is no music. Completely scary me when i played the original
The developers know SH well! Awesome!
Excellent compilation! Thank you!
Pretty sure the zebra print dress and red jacket hung up in the heavens night dressing room was a concept art design from the OG SH2
You missed the poster outside Maria's room in the hospital, it's one of the end scenes from SH4.
2:15 That's also a reference to the Texas chainsaw massacre
Please can you check In Toluca prison cell number F15

But can you please see what’s going in that cell and what’s the voice saying please
Its either "ritual" or "Are you sure". This was in the OG
its a distorted and deep voice that keep repeating it self. Very disturbing
true shit ... i went back there multiple times as i thought the room had more to it... but nobody is talking about it
I'm pretty sure that was Walter's cell, I remembered it immediately
When James held his hand after killing Eddie I thought he shot Mary when he killed her. Didn't realize it was by suffocation by covering her mouth and nose
Regarding dead corpses that are James
Eddy in the fridge, he killed another James, also in the Toluca
17:38 hehehe I have the bunny plushy (stuffed animal)
10:09 jumpscare incoming
I saw it by accident. I was very scared 35:25
Is the background of the item menu, the videotape of James killing Mary?
Either that or of Mary's perspective as she slowly dies
Some of these are so obvious you can't even call them easter eggs. You didn't even mention the pictures of Bloober Team and Team Silent hidden in the historical society. Or comment on the carpet design in the Lakeview Hotel riddled with eyes staring back at James.
Chainsaw bubba's animation in SH2 HAHAHH
is there any news on luke roberts interview or any other actor from sh2r?
How come James is all glowing in some of the parts?
New shampoo, it gave a real boost to his confidence
Alright who's gonna make the 115 timestamps 🙂↕️
Bro how to get those chainsaw animations
Second
The original one has not DLC, it was extra content. DLC are just for today's games. A shame.
First
Otherworld first
