San Thang fair (Lai Chau city) is the convergence of the long-standing cultural colors of the Tay, Mong, Dao, Giay, Lu ethnic groups. Going to the market, the people are not only to buy, sell and exchange. goods but also to confide in, intoxicated with the intoxicating yeast of the Northwest mountains.
San Thang market is about 5 km from Lai Chau city on Highway 4D. The market is held on Thursday morning and Sunday morning every week, very crowded, bustling, colorful by the costumes of the highland ethnic people. The people who come to the market are mostly ethnic people around the area.
