hey brotha, im just trying to maintain my 2gr. i think im starting to get piston slap from my vvti. happens quite frequent when starting for a second or 2. i plan to replace my oil pump line to all metal. any recommendations to lines and anything to build oil pressure?
@@dolanwae2718 I don’t believe VVT causes piston slap itself, piston slap happens when the skirt of the piston develops wear and wobbles in the bore. I would most definitely swap to the hard line man. The soft line is a ticking time bomb!!! I’m doing an experiment right now with my 2GR in my mr2 to run the vavloline restore and protect oil! It’s suppose to clean out the inside of the engine and help get rid of carbon deposits and things along that nature. I’m going to do an update video on it soon. Maybe if you want you can try that with me! I’ve heard you need to do oil changes sooner because the oil pulls so much debris out of the engine rapidly. Thanks for watching!
@@WiseGuyzGarage no. you man an evora a camry that being said i need to do a y pipe on my avalon... wana find a TRD catback for a camry too to fit to the car.. but those are rare.
@@001dman there’s some local to me I’ve been wanting to buy lol. The best evora y pipe is the S/400 one. They look to flow a lot more than this one. Literally anything is probably better than stock lmao
I would love to! but unfortunately, it comes with some bad news. The performance of the y pipe is very... Underwhelming. We tested it with sub-par results. So we are looking for another cheap option. The video with the results will be released soon! Thanks for watching
Yeah! your best bet is eBay.co.uk. I found mine on eBay for a 2012 Evora, and it was around 160 shipped. I did see the later y pipe that looks to flow better available on eBay, but they turn to the left and would pose to be more difficult to install because of that turn. I will be honest with you, I'd hold off for a bit. The results from that part swap are very underwhelming... Ill have the video out soon. It didn't seem to help that much. Hopefully we get better answers for this soon for you all! Thanks for watching!
Damn son, that note change is mint! I would not be upset losing to that because I thought 'Oh it's just a Camry' haha
Been saving to get myself a v6 xv40, +1 subscribe to you man!
@@isthatjelo Thank you I really appreciate it!

@@moidaboi4015 thank you so much! I really appreciate it! Glad I could sway you in wanting one! lol
I don't even care how much horsepower it makes. I'm buying a y pipe solely just for the sound
The sound difference is fantastic!!!

Aww, JCAP looking out for us Ramen eaters out here. Dyno numbers with the exhaust in the next one?

@@DevinOzmon-w1u they are super rare, they are from a Toyota Aurion TRD from Australia!
