Thank you everyone for watching and engaging - this one took a lonnnng time which means it's suffering from UA-cam's "you haven't posted regularly so won't recommend it!" penalty.. throw in the fact that it's some mid-nineties IDM, and well... if you've made it this far - thank you!! 😀😀
Please don't forget to like/comment/subscribe, if you've suggestions for other tracks that I can feasibly breakdown etc - let me know!
    And remember, it's not a loop, it's a spiral

For a SP track, I'd love to see come on my selector, would be crazy how that would be made. For a song in general, I'd choose my kingdom by FSOL, your cover of Papua New Guinea is the only cover ive seen on yt of an fsol song. They're rarely mentioned anywhere compared to other contemporary electronic musicians like boc, aphex twin, autechre.

Got into Squarepusher like two months ago so it was like divine intervention seeing this come up. So dope!
My suggestions for the next breakdown are Eutow by Autechre or Iketa by Polygon Window (Aphex). Love the channel

Those Alan Wake II nods had me chuckling. Love seeing your editing/structural style develop with each video. I think if you wanted a recommendation for a newer artist to reconstruct, something from Oneohtrix Point Never could be interesting - he uses plunderphonic-style samples in a really interesting way and his work ranges from pretty simple (the stuff on Replica) to super layered (like in Garden of Delete).

Maybe really random but perhaps you could try recreating Opus No. 1 by Tim Carleton, also known as "the Cisco holding tune". It was made in 1989 and uses Alesis stuff so I think this could be potentially interesting to make a video about.
