Excellent video. One point on the disc digital caliper measurement, you can bottom out the back of the digital caliper on the outer diameter of the rotor to square up the digital caliper to the rotor face. It won't make more than 0.1" difference unless you are close.
Terrific information. People unfortunately replace the rotors earlier than needed more often than too late. Factory technicians can't distinguish craze cracks from through-wall cracks. In an abundance of caution, they recommend replacement. Also, some "surface cracking" is actually the deposited pad material on the surface of the metal rotor. It will quickly disappear with street driving. Keep up the great videos. 🏁🏁🏁🏁
I appreciate the kind words! I love making these videos to help folks out. I see this as a common misconception or as misinformation all the time, so I’m doing what I can to correct that.
@@FollowMyLine17 Like I’ve told you before, when I’m working on my car, there are so many things that I do from watching your videos. And I think about you every time I do them. 👊

Great call out! Pinning the comment!
This individual is just as OCD as I am and I’m here for it. Thank you for the video and never change.
Haha thanks! I never plan to!

Hey man, did you put the Z06 wheel Spats on the front wheel arches of your 1le?
Yes, those are the fender flares from the C7 Z06.
