Charlie, I've served as a juror on a murder trial. Believe me, no one on a jury wants to find anyone falsely "guilty" of taking another's life!...of being responsible for falsely condemning another human to death or life behind bars. Conscientious jurors could not live with lying and condemning a fellow human to such a life. The evidence has to be without a reasonable doubt in a juror's mind. You see, Charlie, people with clear consciences can peacefully sleep at night...they do not lie as a juror and they do not participate in planning on or cruelly hurting a fellow human!

One of the 3 will spill it, but I’d assume Wendy or Mom. When the inevitable is presented and the attorney says” we gotta try for a plea to keep you out of prison for life”. Wendy would probably say “ My family was talking about it but I didn’t think they would really do it”..something to try and make excuses and pass the buck. They will bring her in sooner or later, it’s too public and the outrage. They have it figured out but have to wait to dot the i’s n cross the t’s.They want a solid case that will convict her. They all are going down !!🙏

One of Charlie's biggest mistakes throughout his testimony/ trial is his lack of empathy for Dan. No mention of how sad the news of Dan's murder made him feel, no mention of how terrible the news must be for his nephews. Even in these jail discussions between Charlie and Donna, there is no mention of Dan or how they lost a son-in-law and brother-in-law. The fact that they don't mention Dan speaks volumes to their disdain for him, even in his death.

All of his crying and bemoaning the loss of HIS son without mentioning how Dan or the Markels must feel losing their son....is what punches me in the gut the most. When you are a person that has empathy, you can't feel your own feelings, without simultaneously wondering if this is how other people felt too. You've either got it or you don't, and this family just DOESN'T.
The FACT that after all of this...all these trials and details...that Wendi still has not SHOWERED THE MARKELS with UNFETTERED access to their own blood grandchildren shows that she doesn't have it either. Not even a little.

Cappleman was brilliant. She used the e-mails and Wendi's book to reveal the mindset of this family. That along with the trail of evidence revealed who were the stupid ones. It is very smart to add the evil mindset of the family to the thousands of 'pieces of the puzzle' of evidence and show it ALL to the jury. Charlie and his lawyer wanted to get the jury hung up on scenarios. But the revelation of the mindset of the family by using their own words is what brought it all home. These people condemned themselves. So, who are the stupid ones? Sorry, Rashbaum, but words and evil mindsets ARE pieces of the puzzle.

All this time they believed that they had out of necessity for her own good, had to nudge, poor innocent abused Wendi into going along w the murder plan; Finally a tiny light has shone upon them, the possibility that Wendi had been playing out an elaborate multi layered plan, for years(starting w/ laying the groundwork/-reporting to her family, friends, anyone, the supposed emotional abuse of their princess, by her "insensitive, husband, Dan.
I hope the overall picture will continue to come into focus for them: Wendi played everybody.

Thank God he left town the night before. Look everywhere else but at Wendi..nothing to see here. Especially since in the police interview told them that on the way to the police station in the car she was wondering if she was a suspect… but the police hadn’t told her there was a crime yet..what was she a suspect of unless she knew..Her parents could’ve died 🤷‍♀️And then throwing Charlie’s name & her parents name out there to the police as the people that hated Dan the most? And after Charlie got convicted now Wendi won’t even talk to Donna or ask about Charlie??Come on now.. they all were definitely set up..can’t wait until they arrest that bish.. she sacrificed her whole family… if they all are in jail she gets all the money especially since Harvey will only have a few more yrs before he kicks the bucket since his reputation is shot & family is? obliterated.Wonder if she will tilt her head & bat her doe eyes when they cuff her like she does on the stand🙄?

@@flavorsofwisdom I'm living in New Zealand & see this whole family guilty of Dans murder,
The one exception in this family is the eldest son, Robert. He is the only diamond in the rough that is this family.
It's the boys I worry about. They were still small babies when their father was murdered. They are now young teenagers, an age when young boys are transitioning from childhood to adulthood.
If their mother is arrested & found guilty in their father's murder that could take a toll on their mental health.
Imagine finding out you were raised by the killers of your father? "The book flowers in the attic by VC ANDREWS is mild compared to the emotional abuse these boys have to live with."
These boys were blessed with a loving father & they were robbed of him while still in daycare.
Who would these boys be today if they had been brought up with Dan?
By what I've read, Ben would have benefited by Dans parenting, he seems to be aggressive toward his younger brother.
For example, throwing pencils at his eyes when they were younger. Ben is the child that is close to Charlie.

Charlies complains and complains and complains about the word "coincidence",every time he hears that word he's going to cringe, oh man. Then when he describes what his precious sister bought at the liquor store, "not champagne, not tequila, not wine, but 'Bullet Bourbon'" LOL. This is like watching a Seinfeld episode. Wait until he finds out his sister didn't even call his Mom and Dad after the verdict!!! He'll be stewing in his cell thinking about how much of a schmuck he is, ha!!! When he goes on and on about her driving to the murder scene and doing a "3 point turn" I couldn't stop laughing. He can talk for hours and hours, I am so loving this. He doesn't know he's funny. he gave away his food, was positive he was going home, was just thrilled with himself and then reality hit. I like to rewatch the trial knowing how he felt at the time. *Charlie convicts Wendi in this phone call!!* I hope the prosecution listens to this!! ‼ In this call, around 1 hour mark,, and again around the 1 hour and 37 minute mark, Charlie makes a very good case for Wendi's arrest!! It's unbelievable! Saying how *Wendi* went and drove by the crime scene on her way to get, of all things, Bulleit Bourbon. She drove 7 miles out of her way (per Charlie's words). And Donna and Charlie said the TV was worth 5! And before that Wendi wrote a book about this very thing, a town that sounds like Tallahassee and a university that sounds like Florida State, it's as if she planned it way ahead of time!! And in between all of that Georgia Cappleman leaving up Dan's autopsy photos for the jury to see!! Charlie says there are a lot of coincidences, too many coincidences. It is certainly seeming like Charlie could flip on Wendi!!
Also, in this call it's interesting how Harvey is right there in the background listening and speaking up, reinforcing what Donna is saying in parts! Harvey was involved as well, it's way obvious!! I love that Charlie thought he was going to win, and then lost completely!! He even gave his tuna packets away to other inmates! 😂 What Charlie doesn't understand, is he did not have the facts on his side!! And Charlie says Dan Rashbaum doesn't think they will win an appeal, that the judge did a good job and let them get everything in. Charlie says life in jail is worse than cancer!!
