Wala pa cellphones that could take videos. Mahal pa mga digicam nito and they had very little storage. Your only option was a DV cam, pero challenge to keep it stable inside a vehicle because no one used it for this purpose back in the day. Then of course, there's also the fact na tinatapon na natin mga tapes thinking na it has no value anymore, even moreso with those who could typically afford this setup. Kudos to the channel owner for being able to keep this footage preserved!

I was born in 1998 and the car that I’m driving now, was from this year(2004). It’s crazy to think that my car now was once driving around these roads and lived to see these days. I felt like if my car could talk. I’d love to hear its stories going around the metro.
Before there is no Footbridge in the Kalayaan - C5 Interchange before during the mid and late 2000s there is no elevated u turn yet , Plus BGC was different compare in the presents days . man it really looked so peaceful and nice back then... makes me wonder what happened cause now the roads are a mess, traffic is insane and people are less civil when it comes to driving and giving each other way etc.
oh wow. badminton was really the popular recreational sport back then. There was a time when C5 and Lanuza Drive were the "alternative" routes to avoid traffic. Now they're just as congested. But then fewer people lived in East Pasig/ Rizal areas then so a 4 lane would suffice.

How young are you?
Love this. Time capsule in video format
What amazes me is that a lot of vehicles from this video are still being use today and some of them are modified ❤
I remember those times. Worst times of my career. I think I still have 14 to 19 to go before retiring.. Kung baga na spend ko na yung more than half of my career life.
Man this is 20 years ago. 😢😢 , felt it was like 8 years ago lang...
Those were the days on the past I love it....
Usong uso talaga Honda Civic bigote tsaka Pajero Fieldmaster noon. Parang montero/fortuner at vios sa panahon ngayon. Hahaha kahit saan meron.
Pa 2nd year higschool palang ako neto.. Ngayon 32 nako.. Bilis ng panahon
man it really looked so peaceful and nice back then... makes me wonder what happened cause now the roads are a mess, traffic is insane and people are less civil when it comes to driving and giving each other way etc.
I was working in Eastwood back in 2004. BGC back then is like Arca South today, yung dinedevelop palang.
oh wow. badminton was really the popular recreational sport back then. There was a time when C5 and Lanuza Drive were the "alternative" routes to avoid traffic. Now they're just as congested. But then fewer people lived in East Pasig/ Rizal areas then so a 4 lane would suffice.
It's nice to see AUV's in their prime.
walang masyadong motor. maraming owner type jeeps.... nostalgic talaga grabe
got recommended after 3 years
Namimiss kona yung Revo namen 😭
thanks for this
once nagdevelop ang BGC mabilis natayo lahat. 2007/08 iba na itsura you have serendra na, nagconcert pa MCR sa fort open field? fully developed na serendra by 2009
Grabe anluwag ng C5!! But now in present times, super traffic from BGC to Ortigas ext.
My father said that Pacific plaza tower is the first building in BGC. He wasn't lying
This clip is exactly a year older than me 😓
good old day
Those were the days.
Nakakamis ung ganitong lugar
I still remember those Ancient taxis, good ol times
Wala pa yung elevated U-Turn sa C5. At tinatayo palang ang Market Market :)
pansin nyo dati halos walang naka motor? dati kasi d uso ung hulugan at budget friendly na motor. so halos walang kamoteng motorist dati compare mo ngayon para silang langaw sa daan kung saan saan sumusulpot at sumisingit.
💯
I love the 2000s, parang mishmash ng 90's at modern day.
Love how you put it! Oo nga, mish mash ng 90's and modern day! Sakto!
