I'm not a blue or funk musician, but oh my goodness has this been fun to jam out to. The tips in the video were superb. They allow a musician to get a better grasp of how a solo should go, or even how to make a groove sound interesting. Best backing track I've found so far, and I'm going to incorporate this into my practice routine. Thanks so much!
I am happy to receive your comment Cliff. This kind of comments help this channel keep going. It would be really helpful if you take a moment to share it with some of your guitar friends :) Thanks 🎸😎
Sweet groove. And good advice. Starting with 3 notes is all you need at first. When you can make 3 notes sound interesting, it's time to add a 4th, etc. This track has lots of interesting rhythms going on which are good foil for the imagination. Keep 'em comin please!
I rarely have melodic minor on mind, still inexperienced. I'll try it. It would be cool if you could post a video of your playing :) Thanks for recommendation Anika
Well.. actually my knowledge about saxphone is not more than my knowledge about radio-active reactors. Sorry can't help, but I am a big lover of sax. Please post your video if you ever play along with any of my tracks. I will share it on my socials.
But the notes are there. You can apply those same scales on any instrument like keys, violin or trumpet for example. is that what you meant? If you have a suggestion I am willing to consider it for sure.

Excellent backingtrack. Cool!! E minor scale can be plaid. I play it on dorian mode (E minor + B minor scale together, it sounds great!)
Yes you can do that based on the chord playing

nice bass part, man....... I respect the instrument too much to try :)
geras man patinka tokie soiluot..
Nice track !!
Nice one! Dont stop!!
E melodic minor sounds good over the c13 and b7.
I rarely have melodic minor on mind, still inexperienced. I'll try it. It would be cool if you could post a video of your playing :) Thanks for recommendation Anika
I think C lydian Dominant over C13 and over B7#9 - B altered or B half/whole.
The C13 sounded like a #9. Also I would suggest making the last B a B7#5#9.
You seem to have good experience. I will definitely experiment with your suggestions :)Thank you
Nice track Chusss thanks for the post.
Thaankssssssssss
I play McLaughlin's theme 'Phenomenon: Compulsion' over it. It should be unison with tenor sax or so...
Eyvallah hocam on numero
Very nice! Can i use this backing track? Thanks a lot...
You can but not commercially.
@@chusssMusic of course not sir😀 thank you very much
this some banger elevator music
I play Alto Sax and Tenor sax so what pentantonic scale I have to use to along this backing track?? I'm a beginner. Some help please..

Perhaps you can try G.. but again not sure.
Roland FA
WOOOOOF! RIPPEN :]
Groovy Funky are popular 👍 I'm trying to find one BT with 99,999 views..to make you another 100k hahaha
I noticed 7a7a7 :D
Awesome!
But as a non guitarist I would really appreciate some notes over these fretboard tings..
But the notes are there. You can apply those same scales on any instrument like keys, violin or trumpet for example. is that what you meant? If you have a suggestion I am willing to consider it for sure.
12, 15, and 9 on low E string ? 9 might be wrong ?
9 on G I guess.
You can play some C myxolydian on the C13 chord yeah? or some lydian dominant to make a bit of dissonance. :-)
the blue note here is A#, not D#
Right.
Video kept stopping might not be your fault thogh
Please forgive me.

B-Minor....?!
Hm
