Originally I wasn't so sure about Marcus, but he's won me over and then some! He always looks like he's having so much fun, and he sings so well he certainly deserves it! Thanks for the video, and Merry Christmas!
I would love to see a video of you guys going around caroling. The reactions of random strangers to have the NF4 serenading them with Christmas cheer would be priceless.
Okay, guys, you are perhaps my last hope with getting a serious answer to WHY people spell out words in songs. This is a prime example of 'teaching' us how to spell 'jingle', (which we probably all know anyway, and 'bells' (which we almost definitely know). Reasons other than a simplistic spelling lesson that I've considered are (a) padding out the song: This is daft. Other words could ALWAYS be found. 'Ring out those wonderful jingling bells' for example; (b) rhyming convenience: except these spelt words aren't at the end of lines anyway; or (c)... sorry... just because people can, with no thought to it. I'm not bitching at you, who are just remixing and medleying (?); but at the original lyricists. PS - Google has no comments for an answer, which is very suspicious - has no-one thought to ask this before me, today?
I would guess that it's just fun, and something different. Gotta mix things up a little. After a very cursory search, it looks like Frank Sinatra did this in Jingle Bells first, and I bet he just wanted to make it his own. He liked to make things sound sort of easy, swing-y, jazzy.
living for this era of you guys (actually posting content 🤩) !
I cannot stress enough how much I'm obsessed with this group

As a baritone, both Marcus and Ryan have been an inspiration to continue pursuing my painful ways. It is baritone-adocious as always.
