Hi. Thanks for your review. It's a very pretty bag. I wanted to give you a tip on how to take care of suede so that you don't have to be afraid of it. There is a very good suede protecting spray called "Collonil". You can definitely find it on eBay and maybe on Amazon. It's made in Germany and I've been using it for years on my suede bags, gloves and even boots (I love suede lol) and it does a great job keeping it clean and repelling water, etc. I've used it on my favorite pair of booties and yes, they get dirty but because I used the spray when they were brand new, it's very easy to clean them and I don't wear them in the rain on purpose but I'm not scared to get caught in the rain wearing them because water just bids off them and rolls off. Once you start using it, you will want to get more suede things LOL hope this helps :-)
Thank you for sharing your tips. Has anyonr you ever used it on a handbag. I heard that the Chloe Faye bags’flap in particular are made out of nubuck. Do invulner or collonil work on these bags as well?
Well, I am late to the party but still I did find your video very interesting. It is sad that the quality doesn’t match the price. Do you have other Chloé bags or was this your first and last buy.
Karen Shannon hi sorry for the late reply! The glazing was already falling off before getting it cleaned but I doubt it helped. The only reason I took into the shop was the fix the glazing but they weren’t able too
Haley Krostal oh no you’re just a few weeks late! I actually ended up selling it to Fashionphile. You can definitely find the same style but in better condition on fashionphile for a reasonable price! Much better than what I paid lol. You may have to do a little hunting but Fp usually has a few in stock.
That bag seems a bit fake, all the Chloe Faye bags have the brand name embossed on the front on top of the stitch line. Seems like yours is missing it. Sorry!
So the logo on the front got rubbed off when I took it to get cleaned because they used a super harsh brush on it sadly. I agree that it doesn't look right without the logo printed in it though
@@luxy1193I have the same bag mine is genuine like hers and I won’t take it to the dry cleaners for that reason, the logo is embossed but it’s the same color as the Suede and it’s not deeply embossed so the brush can lift up the suede to make it fully disappear.
