The health of the tree has been significantly buffed. If your kill time is fast then it's an easy way to group the mobs, since they naturally run there. If your kill time is slow it's probably not the best idea ;)
I'd rate it a 4. The range dps simply cannot compete with melee weapons as it is at the moment. Hoping for more weapon diversity in the future, the devs have touched on it before.

Bro is a light armor tank with 8k hp and 5k auto attack dmg with hatchet. You are nuts!
When you're so good at the game that 8k hp is enough as a tank in M10 :D
